My question is: The last couple years you have been had some very special moments provided by the menbers of Eruca Sativa, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Muse, etc Now that you are headlining sold out shows of 2k+, 4k+, and 8k!!!! I have two questions. First is I know the sisters love to see each other shine so I want to know what each sister thinks has been their siblings finest moment in their Warning career. My second question is we all know the story behind Pau writing Animosity. Has the person who told Pau that she was wasting all that time practicing finished backpedaling on that comment yet?

It’s funny you reacted to this particular performance as this is the ONLY time TW have ever lip synched a performance. Yes, you heard me correctly, this is not a live performance. Their instruments are not mic’d up. The audio you hear was from a live session session they recorded in their basement studio ahead of time. Also, I’ve never seen Pau so calm while playing drums (other than soundcheck). Just goes to show you that they’re not actually playing live. And if you ask DPA what they thought about this performance, they will tell you they hated it. The TV studio did not have the equipment to allow them to actually perform live, so they lip synced it. DPA hated it so much, in fact, that they have NEVER lip synced since. That is one of the main reasons why they started doing acoustic versions of their songs, because, while radio stations and TV studios may not have the equipment for a full on rock show, doing it acoustic is easy. TLDR: This performance is TW’s ONLY lip synced performance.

They named the band "Blush". They liked rock, like Pat Benatar, Suzi Quatro, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, some softer rock, like Toto, Alan Parsons, Rod Stewart. In the end, they switched to more pop stuff, switched their name to "Carmín" and went for soft pop music. Gaby went solo, i wished she would have kept more on the rock side. She could hit those drums. "The Warning" reminds me of her. She could have been bigger. I wonder if "The Warning" know about her. It would be nice to see them interact, the old guard eith the new generation. Lalo might know about her, since he's from Guadalajara, he is younger, but he knows some of the guys in the scene. So maybe you can ask the girls if they know about Gaby Martinez "Blush/Carmín". Stay strong Dad

Pau has said that Ale's timing is incredible and sometimes Pau messes up with the timing and Ale looks at her to say your off. lol I have never seen this and it was cool. Thanks.

Super job you did with those two songs, John!!!! About seven years ago a friend sent me a youtube link to hear a girl band play Enter Sandman. For context, I am a blues/rocker who is older than you. I was stunned with the awesome talent displayed! I started searching around youtube and came across an early video of Exterminated. I have been hooked every since. I agree with your comments about Dany's voice, and at the same time my impressions were and still are that Dany, at age 14 or 15, had a naturally large power, range, and depth in a girl at her age that I had never heard!! I still enjoy Exterminated every time I hear it. I still look forward to them doing this song in the present times. Pau has suggested that the older songs are passe. The Warning were lip syncing at this TV appearance. This is why this video has not been recommended. The TV station didn't care but the girls did. After this appearance. Band said no more lip sync. They'll play acoustic versions of their songs instead.

Fantastic reaction Strongdad! Kudos going for a deep dive! I have seen them perform these songs before, just not on this particular show. I can't believe how confident and mature Ale is at only 10 years old! I thought of a question recently. TW has always said, they try to record how they sound live but never quite get it on a studio recording. Have DPA ever tried recording as if they are playing live? All three of them in the same room at the same time and recording it, as if in a jam session?

DPA. are about at the ages where they went to Berklee College for their summer program. From what I have read, you were supposed to be 15 years old to get in. Ale was only 10, so she had to test to get in. I bet she put some older kids to shame

That's because The Warning was lip syncing. The station didn't care for a live performance. Give them a recording & play along. Pau was the only one playing live. She was timid on hitting her drums hard. They also had demos available to lip sync too. After this show. They said no more lip sync on TV appearances. They will play acoustic performances instead.
