Would they become useless on a stock Rubicon ? In terms of height that is , I'm getting my lift kit and wheels and what not next year , for now I'm keeping it stock , but it seems like 12 inches would almost be ground level on a stock rubi

They would definitely be a low-rider step on a stock Rubicon, but they would not hit the ground. If you are fine climbing into the Jeep as it is now, you could hit the over-ride button and turn them off until you add you lift and tires.

How did you finish tightning the body mount bolts after you installed the slider?
@northridgenation4 жыл бұрын
Tighten them back up and torque to 80 ft-lbs.

With the sliders in place? That was a very detailed install video. Thanks. With the Gladiator coming out with the diesel next month, what higher end lift/ shocks do you recommend to to run 37" tires?

The install seemed pretty thorough except forgetting to mention to re-torque the body mounts :/

How do they operate when you want to remove your doors?

Add-in their door delete kit: www.northridge4x4.com/part/rockers-sliders/sl-dd-100-rock-slide-engineering-step-slider-door-delete-kit

Northridge4x4 Awesome, thank you for replying. I have a 4x4 beach access close to home. Removing the doors on the jeeps around the beach are a must. Glad to see there is an ability to do that.

Will this be the same steps for the Jeep JLU?
@northridgenation2 жыл бұрын
They are very similar to the JLU steps, but designed to fit the JT.

That product is not worth the money, nothing but problems from deploying/redeploying, motor failure, and weak skid plate.
