It's a masterpiece from start to finish and it's pretty high on my top favorites list now. I hope Taron gets an Oscar for this!

@@scotty9898 1000% agree! The movie is absolutely gorgeous! The costumes were incredible, Taron's singing is top notch, all the acting is really good, really nothing to dislike here. I think most people who didn't like it were expecting more of a biopic feel instead of a musical. It's still kind of a biopic to a certain extent, but it's marketed as a musical fantasy, so that should have clued everyone in lol. I think the musical aspect makes it a stronger film, especially with Taron doing all his own singing. His performance is one of the best I've ever seen on screen, and I'm really glad his hard work came out so amazing. Let's hope he gets some well deserved awards for this 😁

Saw this film 12 times at the cinema. No film has ever touched my heart so much and probably never will. My favourite movie of all time. Taron Egerton's portrayal and Dexter Fletcher's vision is truly inspiring and deeply moving. A passion project for all those involved to tell the incredible story of a legend who music will stand the test of time. A movie that comes around once in a lifetime. I do hope they get the recognition they ALL deserve at the Oscars 2020!!

Elton is really a legend! And such a nice person! I went to his concert in lille last week and I was up there in the front row with a poster asking to take a picture with him, and he invited me on stage! I mean, how many famous people do this? It was such a special moment ! Elton John really deserves all this aknowledgement he has, truly a remarkable human being!

I've seen it twice already and plan to see it again Just hit all the emotions heart breaking funny exciting breathtaking edgy and it was so well put together!!!! LOVED IT! It's no Bohemian Rhapsody I loved both of these two growing up but I'm partial to Freddie...

While I am also partial to Freddie, the fact that I was able to care so deeply about Elton, a man I knew so little about, stands as a testament to the quality of Rocketman as a movie and I would consider it no Bohemian Rhapsody in that it outshone it in nearly ever aspect of film for me. I have been a fan of "Queen" for 20 years, but I did not like the movie Bohemian Rhapsody on the contrary I disappointed, on the other hand I had never heard a single song by Elton John, I knew who he was but not his music, when I saw "Rocketman" I fell in love with his songs and the movie, "Rocketman" is perfect from start to finish, the movie grabs you and immerses you in a world full of music telling the life of a man who suffered since childhood but did not give up and left Going forward, Taron's acting is exceptional as well, he not only acted flawlessly, but also sang and danced, "Rocketman" became my favorite movie, and although many don't like it, it's far superior to any other movie related to music or an artist.

Don Jones I think you missed....a lot. The clip picks up as Elton has indeed hugged everyone as he’s almost at the end of the row with the main cast and creative people. If you’ve seen this then I hope you’ve seen countless Taron clips where he recounts this very scene and who he sat next to: Dexter, the director, then Taron, then Bernie Taupin, then Elton, and then David, Elton’s husband. They were all sitting on Taron’s right so Elton would’ve had to have hugged them already as the clip picks up after he did that. What you see is Elton walking past as he hugged them all and basking in the applause. There was no slight whatsoever.

je suis fan de sir elton depuis 1982 en 1970 il représentait 2 % du chiffre mondial des ventes de disques dans le monde pour un total de 900 millions d albums vendus je n ai rien contre madonna mais les biopics sont peut être réalisés en fonction de l intensité de la vie de l artiste ou des ventes ........
