I couldn't help but notice - not a bad thing, just amusing - that the cards with blocks of green became transparent when placed in front of the zoom camera! Really useful being able to see the close-ups of the cards that way, and even though it was noticeable, it didn't cause readability issues (at least not for me).

What a game! The final scoring was awesome. This is a very very good deckbuilding game from what I've seen here. The game runs at a nice pace and you both felt more "powerful" throughout the game, there was a nice development there. The card play and cards are really smart. Martin Wallace does know his stuff. The only thing I felt would detract from the game is its length. I probably wouldn't play it with more players, despite the turns being quick. But this is a question, though, if game end triggers faster with more players or not. Really nice video, guys. And I appreciate the new green screen camera for the cards. Nice improvement on your setup.

Thank you Andre! We honestly haven't played it at more than 2 so we can't say for sure in terms of game length, but we do know that the threshold in points for ending the game is lower in higher player counts. It seems the green screen was a success so we will incorporate it when we can for card-dependent games.

thanks for an entertaining video. congrats Naveen on pulling out the win based on the end of game goal card. the feeling i got from the play through was that the game might feel kind of repetitive and linear. again, this is the feeling i got from the play through and may be completely off base. you have played this more than once, so do you see any feeling of "sameness" from game to game?

1:25:30 I think Naveen forgot he can have the Fusion Reactor permanently and use it to purge cards for cash. That card is amazing.

Naveen could have bought that radiation shielding on his turn @1:34:00 as he has the token that gives him a wild symbol from his space station instead of a weak use of his cash putting out some rocket power and overpaying for the research institute.

I backed this on KS and i do enjoy the game. My gripe is that they went with cards and not a token bag for the mission success check - way too much shuffling. I like the push your luck element. It makes a launch very exciting. I can see people getting frustrated with bad luck. Having a consolation prize as someone else suggested would be a good house rule i think.

I've got faith it is still happening, but they're getting a lot of offers working on both kickstarter playthroughs or playthroughs for the Watch It Played channel, so I'd rest assured that they are going to continue it in due time, when they have, you know, time.

We posted an Uwe gameplay about 10 days ago (Spring Meadow). We just are not slamming them back to back as we have other games we'd like to cover in addition to Uwe's titles. The Tile-Laying wrap up will be out soon too. :-)

Hi! Are you referring to the mission at 1:20:14? That base card can either get placed on the moon or on Mars and Monique had chosen to launch to the moon.

@@BeforeYouPlay sorry for any confusion, I was perplexed because you were talking about your sixth (and final) mission but there were only 4 upgrade chits on your board. I missed when the 1 rocket upgrade got exchanged for the 2 rocket upgrade (as opposed to getting a second chit)

I enjoyed playing this game very much. I have not played anything like it, a medium weight euro game with a push your luck element. I realize the push your luck part of the game will turn many euro gamers away from this title though.

The cost of the threat cards is NOT cumulative. You only pay the price of the level you're at. You do not pay the price for the level you're at plus the level below that. I see this error in nearly every video I have watched for this game.

I think this is a good deckbuilder. Not great, or revolutionary. What I think many viewers are disappointed by is the push-your-luck, and game time. But that could be be because of their focus on mechanisms-because space launch as a theme is probably as push-your-luck and technology-cascading as this game is, in real life! And I like that aspect of it.
