As disappointing as it is to not get the location I would much rather have it this way. Good on you for keeping that secret and respecting your friend which in turn respects the land

What a beautiful spot to rockhound! Very honorable of you to hold the secret, don't blame you one bit. Those were some nice pieces of quartz you found! Its always nice to be out in Nature, doing what you love. Thanks for sharing Kyle!

I could almost smell the earthiness as you were taking the moss away. I love that smell! I miss walking through the woods. Nice pieces for surface collecting. Oh wow! The sagenite sprays in this are phenomenal! 🤯🤩♥️ Glad you were able to get out of the house for awhile. Thanks for sharing your adventure 😊

Nice to see you back at this spot. I’m not sure why but it reminds me of some of the spots I have. As soon as we thaw out I’ll have to check them out. It’s the time of year that’s really difficult to Rockhound here. Also I kind of hit the burnout last year but hopefully when the weather warms up I’ll be feeling it again. Just being so busy and not being able to meet everyone who wants to meet me got really depressing 🤷🏻♂️ Hope 2025 is a great Rockhounding year for everyone! Rock on Kyle! Edit: yeah dude squatch vibes in the forest

Thanks Kyle, great to see your day trip. Makes me think about a few times I went out with folks who had permission to get truffles and I never paid any attention to the rocks! 😆

I'm glad you got some cool rocks. If you don't want to tell where you searching, then don't. You don't need a reason.

You're not keeping it secret for selfish reasons but honorable ones, i totally respect that, as should everyone. Kyle, I hate saying things like this, but you should never hit two hammer faces together! they are both hardened steel and one could shatter sending pieces of steel at a high rate of speed into your face! It's not likely but it is possible. Please be careful. We like your face the way it is.😁

True rockhounds fill their holes and pick up trash. Because they care about leaving the area beautiful and accessible for people in the future. I get though that since you have a public platform you have no control over who would actually go to the location. I would love to find something like this. Crystals are so cool. I get how they are formed but they still seem magical.
