Your channel is a hidden gem. I rebuild a lot of engines on my channel and the best way I’ve found to clean engine parts is to get a tub and just put some diesel in it and clean your parts that way it works much better than engine degreaser and is cheaper and you can keep reusing it, over time the dirt settles to the bottom of the tub so just pour the clean top part of the fuel in another tub and just keep doing that, it works very well👍

Aluma Bright try that next time you want to clean up cases that stuff will just come right off. They’ll end up looking like brand new. Just don’t leave it on there too long spray it on spray it on and then wash it off with clean water you might have to repeat this a few times if you leave it on too long, it’ll turn the aluminum black color oxide. I’ve cleaned up some Can-Am cases that were just absolutely brown and I made them look brand new it also cleans up bolts and stuff like that. Usually truck shops sell it

Make sure to use 5w40 or thinner oil on these engines. And most modern polaris and can am motors. Thicker 1040 or other oils will wear out the plane bearings quickly

You need to invest in an air/ hydraulic jack for that press,, so much faster without all the pumping.

The sportsman 570 engines consume oil.. The weak point is the bottom end bushing on the connecting rod.. I rebuild those cranks in 5 hrs and get er running again. This engine is not hard to work on if you know how to use a shop press 😅

Most sealants require to Set for an hour before you torque down. Just curious if Yamaha bond is different? Haven’t used it before

We get a lot out of them and they are great. Everyone knows that they are a lot of extra work to put together and it takes a long long while (lots of subscribers/ sponsers etc) before the extra time and effort even start to break even much less benefit you. Thanks for the time and know how you are sharing brother!
