It truly is one if not the greatest game ever made. Tremendous potential in the online mode. Imagine if we had houses, Mexico, Guarma fully made, robberies to name a few things. Endless opportunities and potential. Wasted and wasted as time goes by. I understand the people who don't play it no more. It hurts. They don't play the game anymore just because of how much they love it. And sometimes, it's best to detach yourself from what you love if it brings you constant frustration and pain.

RDR2 contains a world like no other to the point where I can't immerse myself in any other video game world and it frustrated me to no end that Rockstar didn't care to expand that beautiful world with a story DLC expansion similar to the first Redemption's Undead Nightmare.

@@galilalexandro4392 I’d even include RDR2. RDR1 got a full story expansion dlc in UN and a number of smaller dlcs. RDR2 hasn’t gotten anything and many spots on the map are unfinished (Guarma, Mexico, North Grizzlies etc).

@DuncanAndFriends Pranks Story mode has always been the saving grace. What RDO lacks is humanity, and not just characters who are merely mediums for roles/missions but feel like real people. There’s just so much more shit to do in SP that the could easily added to online and they just didn’t. It’s like if you bought 2 burgers, one has everything you like in it but the other is missing the burger and sauce. And then over a period of time, they give you little pieces of the burger but it’s weird imitation tofu and not the 100% grade A angus beef of your first burger. Maybe their goal is to piss people off enough to get them to drop the game, and gambling you’ll still play gta. They don’t seem to fathom that you might just steer clear of the company all together. Abusing customer loyalty.

I grinded this game myself hoping we would get good updates and getting ready to defend this game but it’s clear that rockstar won’t deliver. The only logical explanation about not bringing properties or another big dlc into the game, might be the danger of bringing major bugs with it. Just remember that it took them almost a year to bring the animals back into game after they messed up with frontier pursuits and moonshiners DLCs

Red dead online desperately needs houses. Maybe even farm land that we have to maintain and sell. We need more activities. Train robberies, casinos? Bank robberies, heists. Let us buy canoes, bulls, cattle for our farms. That would be something to give us. Let us buy a ranch. I'd pay 100,000 in game currency for a ranch if it was worth it. Give us content for christ sakes. If i wanted to do missions i'd play story mode all over again.

Rockstar nowadays reminds me of Blizzard 5 years ago Blizzard was showing signs of getting lower and lower when it comes to quality and satisfying their player-base but most players would still defend them and say "they'll turn things around" "everybody makes mistakes" "it's not a big deal" and stuff like that and because they've been known for quality, players just didn't wanna believe that they're not the same company anymore. Rockstar and their players are at that point now, there's signs but a lot of people just don't wanna believe it because Rockstar has always been releasing great games but the thing is great Companies are not great because of their name and reputation, they're great and produce great video games because of the leadership and the talented/passionate/creative people and team that makes these games and when those people leave that company then that Company is a great company in name only. Rockstar is only 'rockstar' in name only, it's not the same.

I disagree. Rockstar are still good in Single Player games, Red Dead Redemption 2 totally proved that. They just don't pay attention to their fans' desires. Plus, I myself feared a bit for RDR2's story after GTA 5's story lacked many characters, had a short but interesting and good plot in my opinion, and yet RDR 2 still delievered. You know what makes it imperfect for me? Arthur's death. I trust GTA 6's story would be good, and Rockstar can go for a lengthy plot as they did with RDR 2. The realm of possibilities is huge, especially with the new consoles and PCs.

If abandoning the story modes of both GTA V and RDR2 after their releases wasn't already a warning sign, the horrible way they took a dump on the very games that shot them to success in the first place through outsourcing the remasters of the beloved GTA Trilogy to a total garbage company that already messed up a previous remaster of San Andreas proves it. Or going after, suing and harassing single player modders who show the utmost love for respect for these games instead of the script kiddies that make playing GTA and Red Dead Online utterly miserable. Also, most of the team that made Red Dead Redemption 2 what it is has long quit Rockstar. After all, it was Dan Houser's last work in the company. Face it, even the excuse that Rockstar still cares for quality in story modes has been thrown into the bin with the complete horror show that is the "Definitive Edition" of the classic GTAs.

They really don't give a shit. Or the fact that they continue to shamelessly take down fanmade mods of the games. I don't know man, the new Rockstar doesn't really respect its fan base anymore. The mods for the original versions of these games did a better job of "remastering" them than this shoddy job they gave a go-ahead signal to. The Rockstar we loved would have actually hired the modders who polished up these games 1000x better than that garbage studio instead of suing them to oblivion. I wish Rockstar had more competition, I think the reason why we have seen such lazy content is, there isn't any modern games out that compete with either RDR2 or GTA online. Even though GTA online does get better updates, even those updates are really the same thing you were doing before, just with different NPC's in different places, I thought the tuners update was good, but I think it could have been so much more. Hopefully the new saint's row, even though I know it is hated amongst OG players, at the very least adds an online component that can compete with GTA online enough to light a fire under rockstar's ass, I am not familiar with another game that could compete with RDR2, but if there is one out or coming, I hope it does that too. But right now Rockstar holds essentially a monopoly on these genres, and it is the main reason why we are constantly left wondering what the games could be.

Shot I got an idea for R*. Horse dlc. You meet with Bonnie MacFarlane and you do horsebreaking missions for her. You ride with her, find horses, break a few and get payed. The dlc would also add taming wild horses for the player. It'd also be nice to add in new coats for many of the preexisting horses (maybe with procedurally generated patterns and colors). New saddles, saddlebags, horse customization. And a weird thing that might make horses more interesting, horse natures. Like from pokemon, a nature could make a horse have more of one stat and less of another. Like lower speed but higher temperament, stuff like that.

I would completely redo the blood money role by turning it into and outlaw/lawman role witch will give you around the same currency as in the bounty But your honour decides what type of person you are if that’s a law man you would do things like stop trouble or kill people who are going rob people or steal things or if your an outlaw by robbing and stealing but both will have the same enjoyment and money but the missions would be very different from one another. Another part they could add to this is big events this would be done with capitale but instead of stealing gems there would be a massive variety of missions such as train/boat/bank heists or doing the complete opposite by tracking or setting up a plan to stop them from completing there mission.these missions would give you decent money but a lot of gold

Houses must be highly customisable, ) you can start with 1 room 10 gold. 1 floor 50g, full house 100g. But better is RANCH LOBBY for 10 people or 5 posses, you can buy 1 - Land 50 gold, house 1000$, Barn 500$ etc, place for horses, trainable and sellable horses, room for planing train/bank robberies. Ehh just dreaming. For example check out LOTRO housing lobbie, check black desert horse taming, gardening, Conan exiles housebilding, fallout housebuilding.

I've mentioned this thought on another R* thing, but it still seriously perplexes me how this company has - from what I remember; 10 global studios, and yet feels like they're still doing the bare minimum, it's just so strange. Sure they might be working on a new title, but still, how it's got to this point for their attempt to sustain two titles with a "games as a service" model is astounding. Yes we will buy "GTA VI" or "Red Dead 3" because there'll be an entire team pouring their hearts, hands and heads into a game that has to carry the weight of the pedigree of how these games are expected from launch. So to also see the trilogy remaster being outsourced is just another piece of a mystery that honestly feels like they're just sat swigging the champagne until they can be bothered to meet their quota. Edit: I think after some thought that the approach they have as a company/brand doesn’t help the evolving business model. They’re quite reserved and very selective with their output, it worked when all they did was advertise and publish a game when the all online aspects were still in its infancy, but now that patches, updates, expansions, battle passes, micro-transactions etc are the normality in the online ecosystem, their lack of transparency to open an effective forum has gradually hindered their reputation, because it just paints them in an ivory tower where they’re a tad too stubborn to acknowledge the grunts trying to make the most of the scraps.

Dude, i can answer that very easily: The old squad of developers and leadership are probably gone and now you have the new era. A company like rockstar may have started out pro gamer and edgy now its corporate and dead. Didnt one of the founders just leave rockstar? This isnt rockstar of the early 2000s that we all grew up on.

The same sense that we have over 100 things in gta that are underpowered,rockstar unlike other companies won't add small changes to things that clearly would only take an hour or less to do.

I really only do bounty missions and moonshine . So mostly I play as a law man. I got lots of money and gold all the guns and 80% of the clothes. I am disappointed in red dead these days. I played since day one and nothing happening. I want a tin star for my character that’s not much to ask. Professional you hit the nail on the head for this game. I am also pissed off with rockstar.

Rockstar have changed guys. They’ve gone from the company we grew up loving to being a greedy quantity over quality business. They’re just throwing out games and remasters as cheap as possible with as many micro transactions as possible. They don’t care about player experience anymore, which is such a game. They lost it after GTA V

Oh man. Coming from GTA Online as a new current rank 31 player in this game, I barely touch blood money missions after tried very few of them and I still can do/grind just fine (unless the daily objectives told me to). Blood money bonuses ? Are you kidding me ? Why do Rockstar have to treat the community like this ? Do they really want to lose their players/respect or is it Take Two's order to neglect RDO ? Either way, this is really unacceptable ! This game could have been a great alternative to GTA Online for players and another gateway to gain more fans for Rockstar ! Sucks to see a game with one of the chilliest community are being treated like this. I'm getting my doubts too but I really hope Rockstar can somehow bring out a decent/good update again for this Christmas or next year.

All true. As spectacular as this game is it could still be even better if only they would give us the things we want. I’ve only been playing 10 months and I’ve already got more gold and money than I can actually spend. I’d literally spend 50 gold bars just on one horse mask but they won’t even add them back 😞

They tend to aim for quick cash-grab, and deliver bad quality. Rockstar and take-2 knows that the customers are going to pay for it anyway, so they take advantage of that. (This is the BS massive companies make to drain your wallet)

I started rdo in January. Leveled up all jobs to lvl 20 had ten thousand dollars i litterly couldn't spend on anything and quit by june. Rdo is a mess. I feel bad for players who've played since launch

Just imagine a series of heists that u would need to pull over in order to rob the biggest bank in the state. First heist: train robbery. Hijack a train that contains the funds we need in order to buy vehicles and get guns for the big one. Second heist. Steal valuable information from one of the bank ceo inside a yacht like the one from the story mode before guarma. And so on and so on. Also they could add instead of regular aparments hotels that u can own as bussiness and manage your clients and the money u get from them

R* need to do a H&H DLC for RDO which would be heists and houses,just simple heists with a lil bit of story and let people rob trains because that’s in story, wouldn’t surprise me if u needed a house to start a heist with rockstar.
