As someone who hasn't played GTAV in years, I'm kind of impressed at this point that Rockstar has managed to essentially create yet another form of Sharkcards and worse, that people are defending it. Essentially paying money to be guaranteed a certain amount of in-game currency. (albeit from an in-game activity so it feels like "work" instead of a handout)

One time I had a guy come into the third Doomsday heist finale and told me to give him 50% cuz it was only me and him. He didn't help with any set ups or to obtain equipment, I was nice enough to offer 25% but he wanted too much so I left. Also weird how Rockstar wants feedback on GTA+ by saying "We’re keen to hear your thoughts on GTA+ and the kinds of benefits you’d like to see included in the future." Yeah sure, they likely have no idea what to include and will likely soon add a rentable MKII Oppressor that you can call in as long as you have GTA+ just cuz some child wants it and requested it to grief with it using his mom's credit card.

I would only give a 50% cut to a friend that I have run multiple heist finales with them. Anybody asking for a 25% on the OG heists or asking for a 50% cut for Doomsday, Casino or a Cayo deserve being kicked off the finale. Asking for a ridiculous cut shows the person doesn’t know what they are doing and they are going to give you headaches on the finale.

Or at the very least just boost the value instead of gating it. GTA+ is trying to be a kind of MMO membership but with like zero effort added to it. ESO+ on Elder Scrolls Online gives you a Craft Bag where all materials can be stored in an infinite space in your Inventory. You get discounts on things in the Crown Store, all DLC Dungeons are Free, all DLC zones are Free (except for current Chapter Zone), you can dye Clothing you wear (separate from Armor/Equipment), and you get a permanent 10% Experience Boost. Lastly, they occasionally give a decoration for Housing that is Free for ESO+ users. Once in a while they'll give an ESO+ 1 Week Free Trial where you get most of these benefits just to try it out. And that's it, none of this scamming nonsense that GTAO is pulling with it changing each month to tempt you.

And imagine if GTA+ was around from the onset where you could use a membership to get every property you wish to buy completely free, but you need to keep up with the sub if you want to keep them free. If you want it permanent, grind or buy Shark Cards. Boost money making by a bit for subbing across all activities that reward money. Just two example alone makes that sub more tempting. i’m playing on pc and the doomsday heist setup fees were halved for me and also 1.5x bonus on bogdan and act 3 finale and im assuming they gave these bonuses to all old gen players for free

My advice for everybody is if you don't have a second character set one up and get the sub. Then when you do get the panther you save that Heist and you run it for people and use the close out method. If Rockstar is going to screw you, I see no problem with this.

Honestly I only do the heist for fun now and to watch the cutscenes for the sub stories, with all the stuff you can do in free mode in an invite only lobby the game is in some cases too easy now. Now granted I migrated my xbox one to current so I already did the leg work ahead of time but even for new player (And I play with a lot of them to help get them going and since I am not a griefer or a jerk in general to them) and within only a few hours (I mean that quite literally too) of back to back mission sale runs and safe collections I helped them buy numerous properties for missions, businesses and apartments and storage for cars in a short amount of time. None of this even matters because they made the game so easy and with some patience and free time (when you can make it available, I understand others have different lives and schedules) you can establish yourself pretty quick if you invest wisely. Even some of the lower levels I played with they still had left over cash between mission breaks to get nice cars and cool clothes. Half the time we barely did anything and joked around a lot and still made money doing basic stuff like payphone hits and helping on ceo mission in the inventory. If you can get your businesses up and running within a few hours you already have enough to grind with. I have a bad feeling they're gonna catch on and start cutting pays on everything because of how pointless this is since the game is way too easy now.

Good luck finishing all Heist Finales within the next 3 weeks. Unless you have at least 4 friends this will be impossible to do it solo. Doing heists with randoms is one of the worst things you can experience in GTA Online, since around 99% you will encounter stupid players that will ruin the mission many times. Honestly this lump-sum bonus should be at least 100,000,000 GTA$ instead of stupid 2,000,000 GTA$ (this is a literal insult for any player). Ps. The main reason why I have stopped playing GTA Online are those stupid randoms that you can encounter in any heists.

​@@NepuSoggyMango Each time I try out heist, or a prep mission there are 1-2 random players that will messed up the entire mission, and retrying the same mission 18-20 times in a row is not a fun expierance (this the main reason why I have give up entirely on this game). Maybe you were lucky to encounter a random players that know how to do a heist properly.Still 100 mln GTA$ is a reasonable since heists like The Prison Break, or The Humane Labs Raid are impossible complete if you have an idiod random that messes things up constantly.

I think making the panther statue exclusive to gta+ is stupid. I don’t do the OG heists anymore since I moved on to better ways to make money(cayo perico heists and doing some business sell missions by myself)

See that's the problem that most people are stuck doing the cayo perico only just because it has the best pay but you should really do some of the other heists from time to time just for some variety and to keep things fun and since the pay buffs on the og heists and doomsday they pay decently too soo ;d

@@VGUCrew1999 the only way i would recommend buying gta+ is if it was worth it. October had the mummy outfit and i heard alot of players wanted it. I bought for that reason. I said it to myself either last week or the week before that gta+ wasn't gonna be that good for November and i knew i was gonna be right. Hopefully it'll be better for December but i'm keeping my expectations low.

@@itskiki4979 i would do the doomsday and casino heists also. Problem with the OG heists is you need 4 players and if someone keeps failing the mission constantly or if someone leaves or lags out, then you have to start back to the beginning of that prep mission and invite more players again. I gave up on the OG heists about 3-4 years ago and for a good reason because of better ways to make money.

@@itskiki4979 i'm not doing the OG heists anymore. We as players make money however we want as long we ain't doing any glitches and earning it all legit. I like doing things solo and made enough money on my own. The game has evolved over last few years as to how we can make money and there's nothing wrong doing things solo.

So I tested this out on both characters that you’re allowed to have is that you can get the Panther statue on both, I did the intel mission and didn’t complete on either until I got it on both js. Good luck y’all 🎉

Rockstar at this point is pretty much dead to me. I won't be buying further games from them. Between GTA+, the complete mess of a remaster of the earlier GTA ganes, and how badly rockstar screwed up RDO due to greed and utter incompetence. I am done with them. I am sick to death with devs/publishers ruining games with endless greed. I shudder to think how crap GTA 6 Online will be.

Anybody tried to x run Cayo heists on an account with 2 characters? Since the bank account is shared; I use a 2nd character to fund my original character. Haven't tried doing the set ups for both and then running heist, switching characters and then back to see if the wait time is less

Can someone confirm this as I haven't recently played gta online for almost half a year but when did they start forcing you to pay 500 every death regardless if your money is banked or not? I know previously if you died with some money on your person you can loose it but anything in the bank was safe.

For an elite player it makes little sense.. BUT for some new players getting into the game in 2022, I think GTA+ can be a good idea. I really hate how long it takes to help get new players set up. If this can help speed up the process even slightly, then I’m all for it.
