This could have been a divergence point in the time line: Franklin gets the car without losing his job. The mysterious guy in the car comes out and beats Simeon off screen while Franklin had been out already. Franklin would have never met Michael like that, he'd continue doing a mediocre repo job for Simeon along with Lamar and Michael would have returned to be unhappy with his disfunctional family. Trevor wouldn't even notice Michael was still alive. End of story.

Wonder if this could be used to skip the dialogue and get to Simeon's faster? With Menyoo you can skip Michael's dialogue by teleporting into the yellow dot, and you can keep your powers and do powered brake boosts to get to the yellow dot faster than otherwise, while not having to wait for Michael's dialogue. The current world records presses F as soon as you get in the car to get Michael to do his dialogue, but you can't do any powered brake boosts. I'll look into this tomorrow. (I'm a noob at the game and I know very little so chances are this has been thought of and tried already) Edit: this doesnt work because you can't use your power during the phone call.
