One of the best things about Rocky Balboa movie is that his opponent Mason Dixon is not ment to be the villan of the movie, he is just his own man that has nothing evil in his mind. I love the fact that the writers didn't lose the focus of the movie by constructing a true villan profile on Mason character rather they focused on Rocky's inside world his emotional problems about loneliness. That is why the movie is so sweet and heart breaking...

Not bad for a 59 year old dude, one for whom the term quit, along with the phrase submit to the passage of time, do not alter or deter his single minded focus, nearly supernatural determination and seemingly divinely ordained Greatness. Stallone IS A ONE MAN JUGGERNAUT, this perennial and magnificent powerhouse, and this formidably unrelenting Italian tank (metaphorically and symbolically speaking, not that that had to be typed) smashing into his most feared and fearsome competition with this zealously inspired fire and determination, while the vitality, authenticity, heart, passion and love that he pours into his finest cinematic creation and most sacred manifestation---Rocky Balboa---is sublimely and thoroughly commendable. Stallone is THE MAN!! ONE OF A KIND!! One of the GREATEST AND MOST ADMIRED entertainers in modern American history, if the dude ran for President he would prove this worthy and respected candidate, and he would do very well! Keep it coming man, keep it coming!!

I’m from Mexico, as many should know, box is an extremely popular sport in my country, some of our greatest fighters came from a borough in Mexico City named Tepito. My dad was rised in Tepito and my grandpa tried to be a boxer but he failed, any way, my dad once told me that when the first Rocky movie was released people from Tepito including him, went to the local theatres of the borough and on the training and fighting scenes the people cheered and yelled like if they were on a real arena, and when the other sequels were released, in Tepito were like huge events. But unfortunately the borough in the 90s and 2000s became very dengerous and the theatres were demolished, so when Rocky Balboa was released it did not receive the huge audiences it had with the other films.

In Duke's talk to Rocky before the start of the training montage, Rocky was told that hard running was out. Thus the all-out sprints seen in the first four films (especially in "Rocky" in front of the docked ship and on the Ben Franklin Parkway in "Rocky II") were out of the question. Thus the running was at a slower pace and mostly on grass (as depicted with Rocky running through the University of Pennsylvania campus area near the baseball and softball fields).
