@@jerryirick8953 I mean... He was the best fighter in the world. Was it not for his own hubris, he would've beat Rocky twice. On top of that, Apollo is an entertainer first, fighter second. He's an actor. He says things he doesn't mean all the time, he puts on effort to put up a show, and after someone going the distance against him for the first time, screaming "you didn't win shit!" at the top of his lungs was a great show. But even when putting up a show, he couldn't help but let the true respect he feels seep trough.

It's amazing how after all these years and movies you could see some little details which makes total sense for the franchise. When Apollo offers the rematch and the journalist asks Rocky about it and he answers "I don't know, I'm officially retiring", you could see Adrian showing a little moment of relief and joy. That shows how she truly loved and cared for his man but she won't interfere in his true desires and actions because that's what Rocky really loves to do, fight with his heart and soul. Even when she suffers for it. Adrian's character and her development in the movies was an excellent and underrated feature of them. Clearly there wouldn't be a Rocky without an Adrian and she is everything a man wants from his woman. Talia Shire nailed it representing the role.

I thought that Rocky will lose his balance and fall together with the Championship fighter Apollo Creed on the canvas. If he loses, Apollo Creed will remain as the champion title. If neither Rocky the challenger nor the Champion Apollo gets up, it's a draw. And Apollo Creed will win the title automatically. Apollo was strong and unbeatable.
