Thank you for the unboxing. I'm quite disappointed with this barebones release. I wish WB would just outsource all of their catalog releases to boutiques at this point. So very many disappointing US 4K releases. This is a budget set for a boutique price. I won't pay more than $60 for it.

I agree it is disappointing. I was able to get it on Gruv for 90. Which to me isn’t terrible . But yeah , the rocky franchise deserves an epic set

Greta review and...man! what a franchise this is ! Sly is a great director, writer and what many forget a great actor. Rocky 76 is a apart, but i take the 6 movies as a whole story, so idont have a favorite, i appreciate what Stallone wanted to tell about this genuine, honest and loving characters. It's a symbol and a great cinematic achievement.

I just received my copy of Rocky Ultimate Knockout Collection. Mine had that greasy, mottled, white stuff all over the inside of the case. I have never seen that before. What the hell was it? I took each disc out, cleaned the discs, and tried to wipe the inside of the case with a paper towel. I don’t really think it came out. It just made it greasy and shiny looking. You should have given a spoiler alert before talking about Rocky Balboa.

My favorite is definitely the first movie. I think watching 1 and 2 back to back elevates Rocky 2 as well. My least favorite is probably Rocky 3 or 4. I’m not saying they aren’t good…..just the ones I personally watch the least.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Too cartoony" when describing Rocky 5 because most criticize it for being too dark compared to Rocky 4, which was cartoony (I prefer the Director's Cut). I do wish they added in the Director's Cut of Rocky 5 that Avildsen leaked years ago before he passed. It added new layers to the story & removed the rap music(though I do like early 99's rap). I am a fan of Rocky 5, it was the first film I saw in the franchise I saw in theaters & I do like films that show characters struggle and rise from it. Rocky was always about an underdog winning and gaining his self respect and that's what Rocky 5 was about, even moreso with the Director's Cut (which shows how the neighborhood now sees him). I'm sure they couldn't do an official director's cut but they had the footage & could've had Stallone make a cut he'd like to see. My favorite scene in the whole franchise is the Mickey scene in 5. Rocky Balboa has the bonus features on the disc, I guess you didn't look for it. It's Rocky that is missing features from the Blu-ray collection and older DVD sets. And of course no new features for 2-5. Hell the Rocky 4 "Keep Punching" documentary is an edited version, not extended. There's also 2 Documentary's that's never been on any disc and that's the 40 Years of Rocky and From Rocky to Creed. I'm not sure why MGM and WB fail to honor this franchise

All of the acting is over the top or “cartoony” in Rocky 5. The tone is off for me. Rocky balboa bluray does have special features. The new 4k disc doesn’t included them unfortunately. Thanks for the insight and comment !

@@returnofthedisc I just watched the disc yesterday and it does have features. It has only 1 deleted scenes and the alternate ending. The making of features as well. If your's doesn't have the features I would message WB. I do disagree on the over the top acting. George Washington Duke is the only character I feel was a bit exaggerated, but he's supposed to be because Don King, a real life boxing promoter was at the time.

Just got my Rocky balboa steelbook I like the director cut Better but the director's cut took out one scene I wish they kept in where little Maria took Adrian's picture to Rocky's hotel room the night before the fight wonder why they took that out

This Rocky Ultimate Collection 4K Edition Looks Good Already. This Rocky Ultimate Knockout Edition Needed to Have The Rocky V Director's Cut Movie in This Collection. Rocky V Is a Great Movie, & in Rocky V Comes Back Home to Philadelphia within the Rocky Movie Franchise which Means Rocky Comes Full Circle for Rocky V, & Then the Rocky Balboa Movie 2006 completely Brings Rocky coming Full Circle in the Rocky Franchise.
