You are, hands down, the best movie reaction channel on KZbin. 100% enjoyable! I hope you don’t stop after Balboa (Rocky 6). Please, please go right into the Creed movies! I think this film is criminally underrated, that flashback with Mick (cried my eyes out), Adrians speeches are still amazing and when Rocky is watching Tommy fight for the title and hitting the bag too, like he is in there instead. Shame on anyone who told you and Jess to skip this chapter of the Rocky franchise. Where else could Stallone have gone for a challenge following that super hero of a villain Drago? The challenges that face an aging fighter physically, of financial ruin and the corruption surrounding boxing.. fighting for your family. Thank you so much! It's nice to know that someone knows how much work goes into something like that! I work nonstop from morning till evening, seven days a week, and on top of that, I try to respond to EVERY single comment, and then there are still people complaining that my responses didn't come fast enough!! Haha, unbelievable. So, thanks for your encouraging words!! (:

That was great, as always! Thank you! To be honest, I liked this one just as much as I liked Rocky 4. Mike, just get yourself prepared for people asking you to skip this or that … probably you’ll get to Star Wars someday and there you’ll see the peak of that phenomenon. Anyway, whenever you’ll decide to watch that great saga, I will not tell you if or what to SKIP, but rather the order in which you should WATCH - that is the release order of the episodes. Jessica, I hope the laser intervention will be successful … but you look gorgeous also with the glasses. You guys made my day, as you always do when I watch you react. Thanks again. Best wishes from your Romanian brother …

Thank you! We love you, our Romanian brother!! Laser surgery was great!! No more glasses! (:

I saw this movie in theatre with older brother and his friends, when Paulie got punched by Tommy Gunn and then rocky got up and stared Tommy down the whole theatre erupted cuz by that point everyone was sick of Tommy and wanted him to get his comeupins, then during the fight there was a problem with the film reel and the screen went dark for like ten minutes and people were losing it and swearing at the screen and when a theater usher came in the theatre and stupidly asked us if we wanted to see the rest of movie ( as if we wouldn’t be able to if we didn’t behave) someone in theatre yelled “ get your finger out of ur a*** and put the damn movie back on!” he left and then a cop came in and walked up and down the aisle with a flashlight and people quieted down and the rest of movie came back on a few minutes later, fond memories😂

Good choice. Don’t ever skip anything when watching any series. The people who tell others to do that have no common sense. Every movie/episode is a part of the journey. Even the ones that some people don’t enjoy as much.

Agreed! (:

As a kid this Rocky movie didn't interest me as much as the others but as an adult I do appreciate this one more. Now you have only BALBOA left which is a great bookend to the whole series. Rocky is the best series of movies in my opinion, not a bad one in the bunch. This trip with you guys down Rocky memory lane has really made me love Adrian so much more, she is a fantastic woman.
@BossMovieReactionsАй бұрын
So happy to hear that! Just awesome! Thx! (:

Rocky 5 is a victim of how awsome the first 4 Rocky movies were. When it released we all had “over the moon” expectations. We were all disappointed because of that but Rocky 5 is a good movie trying to live up to great movies.

Yes, I believe you are correct. More about that in my "Afterthoughts" video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHawZXygrbd0as0si=MAFu3r4AoFT_LDjU

Great reaction guys. Let me tell you, for me, number 6 is up there with number 2 and 3. It´s a fitting ending to the series, but there are rumors this won't be the last. Rocky 7 is in the works.

In the orginal ending Rocky dies but the movie studio made him reshoot the ending

Yeah, I can see why... It was probably the correct decision, especially considering how many people loved R6. (:

Thanks for reacting to my 2nd favorite, after 4 (altho somtimes i change ma mind and 5 is ma absolute fav. again), so thanks for leting me see the movie, through your eyes, it was a bless. The story in 5, was in ma oppinion the logical choice and for me, it fits perfect, cause we already had 4 parts, with Rocky in the ring....All the interactions in this one, between almost everyone, got me entirely. And sorry for the kinda poor english, i try to get better. Keep it up guys, allways looking forward for a new video of yours!

Hi Daniel, yes, I totally agree with you. R5 was great. I'm talking more about it in my "Afterthoughts" video. Btw, your English is great, no worries! (:

I know that this is everyone’s least favorite, and even Sylvester Stallone has admitted that he had too much on his hands and did not give the attention that it was needed. I think if you look at his career, it was during the height of his fame in the late 80s and early 90s. Regardless, the story is still relevant for a lot of fighters who really don’t make a lot of money or mismanaged money so I do admire it in that respect and I think that’s what he was going for. We all like it when he’s winning, but not so much when he’s losing. I think it’s a direct reflection of fans in general, I have been following fighters for years and I would still follow them even if they had a losing streak, but you can tell that their fans go away if they’re not having the same results. The true fans will love them regardless❤ So I think, as fans of the Rocky franchise, we all feel the same way I still cry and tear up when the memory of Mick shows up ❤

The character of George Washington Duke is based on Don King, the guy who managed Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson and many others. King was known to be the man who would always leave the ring with the champ. For a long time he managed Mike Tyson and when Tyson lost to Holyfield, Holyfield became his new figher. Tyson once said that King is a vampire who lives off the blood of other people.
@BossMovieReactions6 күн бұрын
Yes, I instantly thought of Don King when I saw the character. Vampire is probably a good word for him! (:

The hardest thing a parent suffers from is their children hurt from financial problems. Rocky can live through it but never wanted it for Adrian and his son. Might be a non popular movie but this is reality to athletes that get older with no money and no team wants them anymore.
