Anyone who is invested in the character of Rocky will love all of the movies. It's so fascinating to see Rocky grow and develop as a person from a young man to an older man and to see the way he handles the challenges of life. His philosophy of how to respond to life and it's hard knocks is so inspirational. I think that you will like the next Rocky as well because you have also become invested in the character. A word of advice about the last Rocky movie: have some tissue at hand because it will make you cry.

Sylvester Stallone actually said that the Rocky movies are a love story with boxing sprinkled in. And it truly holds true. Even hardcore action enthusiasts deep down wish they had a relationship like Rocky and Adrian. Then the boxing just completes the movies. I believe that's why they made the love interest in the Creed movies so dynamic as well. The recipe works and the rest of the stories just wrap around it.

Buster Douglas, a 50-1 longshot who took on Tyson made 1.3 million while Tyson made 6 million. You have to understand that in 1990, you could buy a Brand new fully loaded mustang GT convertible for under 20k. So it seemed like a lot of money to people who weren't educated.
