_"...when things were so much simpler."_ - I see that phrase a lot going through the comments for these old song videos and it strikes me fresh each time; back to a time when a lot of us longed for better technology, and now we have that better technology, unfortunately in a lot of cases, it chokes and complicates our lives today...

Back in the 90`s, i was fortunate to Drive a tour bus for a living, and myself and another Driver called Terry, took @Rod Stewart and his wonderful family to two concerts of his on two seperate nights, 1st one to Man city`s ground, where they played a fabulous set with Mike and the Mechanics and Belinda Carlisle as his warm up acts, 2nd night was again from his residence, and we went to Aston Villa`s Ground, for another perfect concert, same supporting acts, and after all this time, i gotta say how marvellous it was Rod, to take you and your family, both myself and Terry enjoyed your very humble self, your kindness, your generosity, and of course the shows, we still talk about it now lol. Thankyou for uploading this song, it brings back memories of life on the road at a great time in my life, driving perfectionists like your goodself all over uk and Europe. :) Chris.

Great song great meaning behind it always found it somewhat sad that artists like Stewart and the stones and others from the British invasion had more appreciation for Motown and the old blues artists than a lot of ppl in this country

As a pup I grew up with a lot of these songs. This, along with CCR's - Down on the Corner, was one of the few that would play on the radio and I'd tell everyone in the car to shut up till it finishes. 90s was a wonderful time for me
