This showed me that Roddy was more clever than I realized.Two legends there. Roddy used to walk in the back door of Maple Leaf Gardens with jeans and a t shirt with an adidas bag over his shoulder. He treated all of the staff like gold. Pure class. Rip Peeweee and HotRod!

This is one of those moments. This SCREAMS 80's. When i think back to the yellow lighting, the yellow/brown/orange flower patterned couch, still comfy as the middle hadnt been blown out yet. Crystal glass everywhere. The "new" vinyl topped kitchen table, with the ribbed siding, standing on 4 thin legs. The sounds seemed more dull. Eveything had a quietness to it. Like a white noise was always in the background. Big Bird and Grover were the biggest things! Yeah, this fits right in to that mooding. This would be something id catch on a saturday or Sunday rerun. What an era!

Hard to see more and more icons from your youth gone year after year. That's when you wake up and start to realize that you may feel young and even act young, but you really are getting older. Thankful that while it was the low resolution 80s VHS tape TV era, that at least we do have a record of all the good moments from the 80s. His character had been fully developed by this point, like a polished diamond. Pee Wee was a diamond in the rough in the late 70s, early 80s -a little rough around the edges and didn’t have all his mannerisms and sayings figured out yet, but he was fully formed by the time his first movie came out in 85, when this episode occurred.
