It’s worth it just to appreciate the great transfer but since you’re not a western guy, I don’t know if you will love this one.

That’s why I couldn’t give it the full 10. The transfers a 10 but not having new extras did bother me a little bit still I couldn’t complain too much.

I love the Warner Archive stuff. I like how they usually use the classic poster art on the sleeve for these classic films and always look forward each month to seeing which fims are announced as coming soon. Similar to criterion.

I completely agree! I like that they have their own brand that’s separate from regular WB. Seeing them go in to 4K makes me happy. I’m hoping that they decide to do that more often.

The only scenes that are rough are the night scenes but it’s all movies of that time where it was clearly filmed in the day with low exposure lol. So all the colors are off in those scenes but that’s not the 4Ks fault. Unbelievable transfer in my opinion

I plan on buying as soon as I get caught up with my other movies I have ordered. I seen this movie maybe twice and do remember the racist overtones. But back then the Indians were considered the bad guys period.

Yeah exactly! That’s what i’m saying is that it is of the time. I also don’t think the character was always this way but the world and what he saw made him what he is. He does start show some warmness at then and. It’s a fascinating character study.

@@LetsTalkEntertainmentMedia Based on Hollywood movies the Indians are always shown just attacking whites. It wasn't until OUTLAW JOSEY WHALES that you begin to think a little. Then DANCES WITH WOLVES explains that this was their land and they were just protecting it from invaders. Which is why it deserves Best Picture Oscar over GOODFELLAS.
