Hi, great video. Quick question. I see you have a B2-Pro in the background. Did you try using the PSM1 shockmount with the Behringer mic? Did it work? I'm wondering how the B2's threads would work with the Rode mount.

No, the B2 needs a standard mount that squeezes the sides. The PSM1 is for mics with threads at the XLR port which the B2 does not have.

Hey great review! Would this work with Rode NT1 at all? It came with the chunky one, but I use it for voice/streaming and I find it cumbersome. I just ordered a different mount (Rycote 044903) as it doesn't need the elastic bands, which I've never liked, I like my mic sloped. But I can send it back for this

The Rode website does not mention the NT1 being compatible with the PSM1. But there are reviews saying that it will work. I don't have a NT1 or NT1-A so I can't say for sure.

@@BenoniStudio No worries. Thanks for the prompt reply. I was using the NT2 from the 90's I think mount, but a couple of cable holders broke off. I'm going to hook up my new mount later and see how it is. Ideally I liked the look of the SM2, until i saw the no bungee cable option. Thanks again

Do you think the PSM1 shock mount would be compatible with the Audio Technica AT2020 Microphone? Great video btw!

No. The AT2020 stem barely fits in the hole of the PSM1, and you can't screw it in. I guess you could technically set it in the PSM1, but it's not ideal. I'm looking at the AT2020 in the PSM1 right now, and I would only do this if I had no other option. There are much cheaper shock mounts that fit around the body of the AT2020.

Does the Rode NT-USB work with this shock mount? And does it also work with the Rode PSA1 Boom arm?

I don't think so, because the NT-USB has knob on it and will probably hit the sides of this mount. It's not listed under the compatible products either on the NT-USB page www.rode.com/microphones/nt-usb You should try the SMR shock mount with the NT-USB

@@BenoniStudio , I saw some reviews of the PSM1 Shock mount, and some people said it work amazingly well with their Rode NT-USB Microphone. But, I don't want to risk ordering something I can use lol.

@@emspokes6782 Perhaps it does, not actually owning the NT-USB I can't say. Just going from what Rode says about what's compatible on their site. And also consider with the knobs on the side of the mic, it would be more difficult to adjust if they are hidden by the shock mount webbing.
