You know, the sound was so bad with the windscreen left off, and so good with it put on, that one can conclude that if the mic can preform that well in the wind next to a freeway (with the windscreen), how good would it sound under less stressful situations?

@@ToddLIVE Exactly my thought, I assumed that road noise would still destroy the sound but it sounded great with that screen on there. I think it would be perfect for my cooking, fishing, DIY videos.

As an Android user, I'm quite used to being discriminated against in videos about products created by Apple enthusiasts. Many of the products reviewed also work on Android products. Even one sentence saying "This mic also works on Android according to the label" would be helpful. It might even expand views since I don't believe I am the only Android user out here. Otherwise, this was an awesome video. Very helpful! Loved the comparison on the bridge. That really enforced your message. And I'm glad you didn't jump! Keep up the awesome work! -Brad

OMG HAHA - I honestly didn't know if this mic works on an Android or not. It's entirely marketed for iOS devices and not for Android. Does it work on Android? Perhaps I should do a discrimination gripe video - or better yet, you could do a discrimination gripe. Have 4 or 5 awesome products that work on both but that are only marketed for iOS. That would be a hit - and I'm not joking. Very good content right there. Anyway, thanks for the props Brad, and thanks for watching. It was a fun video to shoot once I got into it and got going. @@ToddLIVE Just asked the Google and it appears the mic does work on Android. Interesting that I watched a review from someone with a Samsung Galaxy phone. The packaging he showed indicated the mic was for the iPhone & iPad. No mention of Android. Anyway, I'm using the Rode VideoMic Pro with my DSLR and their lav mic with my phone. Like them both a lot. Rode makes great products. Thanks again for the awesome content!

I too have the Rode VideoMic Pro and I'm thinking about buying that dead cat windscreen for that, too, simply because the sound was so good on the smaller one outdoors. Cheers!
