Rodecaster Pro Review - Live Streaming with OBS, StreamYard, Facebook Live

I will also show you how I set it up with OBS, StreamYard, and Facebook Live. I'll also touch on the other features which I never use but you may.
Okay, this 800 dollar device belongs to a friend and I only have a few days to test it.
The Rodecaster Pro is a piece of podcasting equipment mainly for recording voices and adding sound effects. Can I use it for live streaming?
Here are my top 3 reasons why I like the Rodecaster Pro for live streaming.
Reason number one. It improves my live streaming audio quality.
After plugging in my microphone to the back I will select the microphone channel and choose whether to have processing or no processing. Of course, we want processing and usually, I'll leave everything on. Without audio processing, this is what my voice sounds like. With audio processing turned on this is what my voice sounds like.
Reason number two. It adds sound effects to my stream.
This is my favorite part. The sound pad. I can choose a built-in sound or I can put in my own sounds. At any time I can just press a sound button and adjust the volume up or down.
Reason number three. It makes my entire live stream setup look cool.
I love the colorful sound pad buttons, the huge comfortable volume sliders, and the impressive touchscreen control panel.
There are many other features that I never use.
I can put in 8 different audio sources. We can plug in 4 microphones so that 4 people can speak at the same time in the same room. Each speaker can listen to themselves with these four headphone output ports. We can also have an audio source from the computer via USB, an audio source from a phone if you're going to interview someone remotely, and we can receive wireless Bluetooth audio. Then there's a huge record button. This whole device is actually a podcast recorder. The recording goes into a micro sd card. Be sure to go to the link below to check out the rest of the features.
I'm not a podcaster so how do I set up the Rodecaster Pro for live streaming?
For my windows laptop, I use the USB-C to USB cable provided. Plug the cable into the USB-C port behind the Rodecaster Pro and the other end connect to the USB-C port of the computer.
If I'm streaming with OBS, in my scene I will add a source, choose audio input capture, and tap on ok. Under device, I will choose the microphone Rodecaster Pro stereo. It will then appear inside the audio mixer.
If I'm using StreamYard to stream, go into settings, and choose audio. Under the mic option, choose the microphone Rodecaster Pro stereo.
If I'm going to stream to Facebook Live via webcam instead of streaming software, I will scroll down and change the microphone option. Somehow the Rodecaster Pro is already automatically selected. If not, I will scroll down and select Rodecaster Pro stereo.

Can I use the Rodecaster Pro on YoloBox? Yes, but I have to connect using the headphones output, which does not sound clean (hisses).

Thank you. I use the roadcaster on streamyard. I use the settings audio on default roadcaster. I'm going to change it to stereo like you said to see if it fixes my problem. When I go live on KZbin with someone I can't hear them.

While using Obs studio, Rodecaster Pro 2 gives sound from the chat channel. I cannot hear sound from the main channel. Do you mind?
