@ Yeah I’m sure Garrett will stay with the team, and Sauce and Breece and our young core if we tank next year… I would love to get a QB high next draft, but we have a lot of talent and if we get the coach right we’re not gonna be in position for a top pick. Can still get a QB but there are no guarantees, and prolonging the losing is very risky if you want Garrett here longterm. That’s real.

It strikes me that they brought in these veterans, including Rodgers, who have been in the league a long time. Each has undoubtedly gone through at least one disaster-filled season. But the young players, Garrett, Hall, Sauce, they've been winning since Pop Warner. They've never been through anything close to this season in their lives. And the vets have done nothing to help them through it all. Rodgers keeps blaming anybody but himself. So it's not surprising that the really good young players are completely confused and demoralized. I hope they can rid themselves of these vets, even if it means a couple of years of mediocre teams. We're used to that. After all, the Zach Jets won more than the Rodgers Jets every year.

The AR8 experiment has failed miserably. Jets should cut their losses and move on from him. Yes, it coulda, woulda, shoulda been better this season with good/competent coaching but that ship has sailed. If the team was in the hunt, finished with 9-10 wins and missed the playoffs you might say lets take another crack at it with AR8, but this season put the dagger in that idea.
