Funny how people always have debates that both sides never agree upon, but NOBODY disagrees that Rodney Mullen is the best Skateboarder in history.
@tixxit139 жыл бұрын
honestly skateboarders get not nearly the amount of credit they deserve. Rodney is doing things that our minds cant even comprehend just by looking at in real time. The amount of skill, precision, determination, dedication and PRACTICE that go into this craft is truly remarkable. Shame, most adults see it as some punk kids causing trouble. That generation is almost gone, I have hope for the world yet. PEACE AND LOVE BROTHERS AND SISTERS.

the fact is that despite his undisputed talent and his contribution in street skateboarding, he remains one of the most humble guy in this domain. Nowadays, very few of those young bloods could shut their mouth and just ride good (nah, now is the time to pose, trash talk, etc. but talent is nowhere to be seen). Best wishes to Rodney & his fans !! peace !

To some extent, yes, but Michelangelo was the laughing stock of the Renaissance during that time. Rodney is completely in his own league . He is a creative genius the only 1 on this calibre. always a pleasure to.just watch him .3:03 gets into a primo then hardflip out of primo that is soooo hard Jheeez. that's fire. I learned primo flip faster then kick flip gave me such satisfaction doing so. imagine how he feels creating flips based on movement and position of feet and the landing them clean . He's buzzing fo sho lol :) the inventor and innovator of modern day skating from ollie to any other flip trick with few grab tricks flatland, dark slides, caspers, primos,underflips and truck stands. so.much variation. killed it legend his innovations will keep the sport alive for centuries he also designed the modern day board to his specifications based on his tricks. 1 of my fave and cool looking trick is the half cab impossible looks so cool. peace guys keep skating and innovate I know that's very very limited now that Rodney has claimed em all hahaa

I dunno if you noticed, but skaters kinda SUCK these days, especially when compared to Mullen, Muska, etc. Skating has taken a huge back-step since the glory days of the early '000s, and it continues to degrade with each passing year. I guess there must be too much fluoride in the water or something for so-called professionals of the sport these days who are in permanent "Mongo-Mode" (not a friendly term) to be at the height of the industry. The talent pool is pretty much dried up since the Greats (you know who I mean) stepped out of the public-eye. I don't see anyone doing 1080s or insane casper/primo flips these days, let alone bettering them.

I am blader, heart and soul a blader and have never ever even attempted to skateboard seriously not even once but this dude is beyond good. No offence to skateboarders but most of the time when they land technical tricks they all seem suprised and happy and celebrate (which they should because its damn hard!) but with rodney its Just natural, guy doesnt celebrate, doesnt seem shocked he actually landed the trick it Just happens, fluently, effortlessly and it literally looks like art in motion. props to a dude who fully mastered his sport! even as a true blader i love to watch skateboarders especially guys who are good because ever though blading is better (Just kidding) good skateboarding is phenominal to watch due to the skill it takes! props man! wish there was more true bladers and skateboarders these days and that it actually had the mainstream recognition that cycling and football gets. skating street (board or blade) is Just pure skill, heart and soul, creativity, fun, style and passionate love for 2 awesome forms of sport. man i wish it wasnt 11:58 pm here in the uk as i really wanna' go skate now!
