@@sandwhich1172 if you look at misprint, it will have glitch text to show that its random mult, this will occasionally be a red value like 12S, the number in this will be the value of the next card with 11 for jack 12 for queen and 13 for king, and the S indicates suit, so in this case it would be a spade. Its pretty good, but I never use it since it requires opening the collection.

However, the last two characters, and their color, will give away the next card you will draw from the top of the deck. So if you see 1C, you're gonna see a 1 of clubs on the next draw (JQKA is represented by 11, 12, 13, 14 respectively).

I've played the game a decent amount, but I don't have all the jokers memorized yet either. Wouldn't recommend trying to pause most of the time. He doesn't hover over the jokers for long enough most of the time. Just try to pick up the name of the joker from what he's saying and Google it. Just add the word "balatro" to the name of the joker and the wiki will pop up.

My best, genuine advice is to just- play the game. Sink a good like 20 hours into over a couple weeks, and it'll start to click. It's pretty cheap, and it's on like every platform.

Okay, maybe I'm dumb, but I feel like the play at 1:36:29 is wrong. Wouldn't you sell one of the Mimes, take Blueprint, and use Cryptids to make up the loss? You now get 3 Perkeo triggers per turn and print money with the freshly bought negative Mail-In Rebate, allowing you time to find the Showman to get more Blueprints/Brainstorms/Barons/Mimes.

@@Darnold4Prez2024 Just repeating what you've heard the streamer say doesn't make you smart, especially when you back it up with zero evidence to the contrary. Selling the Perkeo is the same as forfeiting the run, period. The highest possible score will require the Perkeo producing more Cryptids, and getting another Perkeo may as well be impossible. On the other hand, using the $300+ per round to search for better jokers while using the Cryptids you have to keep going actually has a chance to get past the natural end point you reach by selling the Perkeo.
