Dude, I'm in love with my ALLY. There are 2 only things I really hate; 1º The Sticks's dead zones, and 2º Since I own the ALLY I can barely do other things, i'm absorbed. It's MASSIVE, I can't express how FUN is this device... It runs everything, wherever. I've finish, The Last of Us 1 and God Of War IV, having fun with Red Dead II, and just discovered how WONDERFUL is Zelda Breath of the Wild and Tears Of The Kingdom.... In the same device. This is glorious.

Amazing content! Do you have a video on your rpcs3 settings for MGS4 emulation on Ally? I spent days and hours going through the wiki and trying different versions of rpcs3 and eventually getting to play for 15 minutes but couldn’t get past a certain cutscene trigger without freeze up. You want the ally if you are a gamer looking for a windows pc on the go the base or the X are great products tbf the X is better Alot but it also has cons but if you invest another $30 for a dock you can play it on a monitor at the end of the day its all really if you want something that sacrifices performance comfort and a little bit of ease of use for portability i bought one I haven't got it yet but i can understand from everyones preference and actual comparisons the ally X is the way too go if you're passionate about your games and handhelds

It’s a huge difference. If you adjust the colors a bit in Radeon settings it’s close to oled quality but still a massive boost out the box

Definitely a big leap in performance but I wouldn't say that games look "ugly" on the Deck at all, we can use a plugin called VibrantDeck too make the colours more vivid on the Steam Deck's 800p screen. The Ally has a 1080p screen and also take advantage of the AMD Control Panel to obtain a similar effect as with the Deck!

Colors are a product of our visual cortex. Thus you don't see what your eyes sees. This means you will notice the differences between the Deck screen , the Ally screen and oled comparing them side by side while separately it harder to tell the difference especially over time as our visual cortex will adjust. (The same with sound) As soldierplays wrote he can't tell the difference between a lcd screen from an oled. A lot of this is just bragging rights when people have watch movies and play games for decades with lcd as the same level as the Deck screen. I know if the Ally had an OLED screen and the Deck had the same lcd screen as the Ally people would brag the oled is the best and deck screen is awful.

I'm sure you could tell the difference if the Deck had the Ally lcd screen and the Ally had an oled screen. It's all about bragging rights. What really noticeable is playing games on a gaming laptop with a 17" screen vs playing a game on a 7" screen.

I would love to know what your settings are for Destiny 2 to get that stable 60fps. I can only get it running at 720p with RSR and everything at low with the Vram set to 8gb. Ironically, default settings on 8gb of vram runs the game at pretty high settings

But Windows wants to keep trying to update them even with it disabled in Device Manager. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Also, the in game default settings will increase and get better the higher you raise the VRam fwiw. Great videos! Your dual boot Steam Deck video got me through my Destiny fix on that until the Ally came out! 🤘

Emulation with RPCS3 emulator You can play all the ps3 games with it i already have play from start to finish : 007Quantum Of Solace, 007Bloodstone (some crashes) , InFamous, Ratchet & Clank2, topSpin4, Godfathers (don's edition) , spider-man Web of shadows cod 4 and medalOfHonor 2010 not all on my ally but it works

If the top left diagnostics are small then it's 1080p, if they're bigger then it's 720p. Recommend checking out the full videos on my channel as I try a lot of different settings! Also I use Auto VRAM, BIOS 317 and haven't done any debloating on the OS as I don't think it's necessary.

@@user-fm5xf4pe6v I recommend that you use the official site, to download the emulator and Rpcs3 for each game gives you the exact configuration for a particular game or a general configuration. rpcs3 and one of the most impressive/efficient and easily accessible emulators I know. In one morning on the software is mastered. for games you find everything on the internet without viruses or without an account to have on good sites 👍🏻 do not hesitate to inquire about xenia which has some rare better optimized games like fifa street 3, need for speed ProStreet or Red Dead Redemption some games have freezes but many games are fully functional today and it will only get better. right now I'm on Hitman Blood Money HD and Spider-man Shattered Dimensions. A lot of tutorial are also on youtube
