I have to say (both to you and to @_Just_Another_Guy) that whether or not Rogue actually heard him, she certainly answered him: "Daddy always used to say breakin' into prison was easier than breaking out!" And since she worked with Mystique for a few years, that Daddy reference might well be about Sabretooth. Keep this in mind; under her common sense, Rogue's got *SABRETOOTH'S* example to fall back on when she loses it. Frankly, it explains a lot.

I like how characters always say oh this thing was built to hold/stop the hulk. But when was the last time anything actually stopped or held the hulk?
@carterfliss19998 ай бұрын
I mean, there was the time that The Illuminati (Black Bolt, Mr Fantastic, and a few others) were genuinely able to trap the Hulk in a space pod and shot it off into space. Only problem is that led directly to the events of World War Hulk, where Hulk comes back with a vengeance, stronger and angrier than ever. During the comic run, he is able to put down multiple Avengers teams and chumps the X-Men and the Juggernaut. He only took pity on the X-Men because he learns through Prof Xavier about the M-Day Incident, an immense tragedy for all mutants that happened while Hulk was not on Earth. It took Sentry (i.e. Marvel Superman) to finally stop him, and it still ended in a stalemate where both Hulk and Sentry reverted back to their human forms.

1.) *_Power Levels_** --* For those that are less familiar with Rogue's (Anna Marie Darkholme-LeBeau) level-scale of powers, by Marvel Comics... *:)* - a.) *Super-Strength -* Rogue's 'optimum' Super-Strength is rated at 70 tons without exertion. When exerting, Rogue's upper-limit of Super-Strength is over 100+ tons (estimated at 120-130 tons). It is unknown/unrated to what Rogue's maximum Super-Strength would be when pushing past her normal limits, &/or supplementing her Super-Strength with her Power Drain X-power (i.e.: draining The Hulk, or Thor, or Hercules, etc.). Rogue once held up the entire weight of the X-Mansion (albeit not for long) when it collapsed from was aerial bombardment, with her and the X-Men in the basement below. - b.) *Super-Toughness -* Short of going fist-to-fist versus The Hulk, or Thor using Mjolnir to hammer-beatdown Rogue, or pierced by Wolverine's adamantium claws, all of which has occurred in Marvel Comics, Rogue can withstand most physical damage. Rogue can, *_and has,_* walked through massed machine-gun fire from all sides, and has shaken off direct hits from grenade launchers and rocket launchers. - c.) *Flight -* Rogue can fly at MACH (faster than sound) speeds. _However,_ Rogue avoids flying at MACH speeds unless absolutely necessary, as the Sonic Booms generated by such MACH speeds causes tremendous collateral and environmental damage in the MACH-speed flight-wake. And, rather obviously, flying at higher speeds drastically reduces Rogue's maneuverability, making it much harder for Rogue to dodge/evade anti-air attacks. (The best way to reduce incoming damage? Don't get hit.) 2.) [0:28] *_Aerial Roll & Dive Kick_** --* For younger X-Men fans, this attack-move was a nod to the *[X-Men vs. Street Fighter (1996) video arcade fighting game],* which Rogue was a playable fighter in. Such animating details like that goes to show how *[X-Men '97 (2024) cartoon series]* was made with a lot of care, effort, and X-fans love. *;)* 3.) *_Powerhouse_** --* Rogue shines best when in her role as the _'Powerhouse'_ character of the X-Men. Though it is also important to remember that Rogue is also intelligent/cunning too, having been raised by two cerebral-minded adoptive parents, Mystique (Raven Darkholme) and Destiny (Irene Adler). There have been many Rogue-wins where Rogue never had to throw a punch, or use her X-powers; simply Rogue using her wits/cunning, her strikingly good looks, and her _'Southern Belle'_ charms. Thanks for uploading this, *Nukem Clips.* :)

Wait for when Rogue faces off against the Apocalypse-corrupted Gambit (Horseman Death), given the foreshadowing of [XM97 1x10 - "Tolerance is Extinction, parr 3/3"]. Worse, assuming [X-Men '97 (2024) series] follows the X-comics history, Death-Gambit would make a full-on effort to murder Rogue, nearly succeeding; remember, an Apocalypse Horseman is greatly boosted in power, making a single Horseman capable of taking on/out a full X-team solo. Comics-wise, it would be years before Rogue and Gambit would mend their relationship (comics-married in 2018, still married as of 2024).

Genosha was exponentially darker than any of those: Tens of thousands were killed, most of them being noncombatants, including children. But technically speaking, its not really any more violent than what happened earlier. If anything, the darkest part is how deep the UN and the US government are tied to Bastion and his plans. What if Rogue killed Thunderbolt Ross, would Hulk even miss him?
@ricardomarquez77307 ай бұрын
Granted Rouge is no Hulk but that doesn’t mean she can’t do as much damage and her anger along with power showed that during her entrance and interrogation of Ross and that guy was always a punk. I was hoping Rouge was gonna take Ross up to space or something to get him to talk but then again she would just use her powers to take his memories of where to find Trask and Gyrich. She also made short work of the tanks as well.

I think this was the rare time Ross didn't do anything questionable to the point of treason (i.e. half the stuff he pulled as Red Hulk before Big Green beat the attitude out of him.) Ross usually respects mutants or leaves them alone. So him going after mutants is out of character for him.

None of that changes the fact that she killed him on the inside

Remind me again; Rogue's powers let her siphon, among other things, the memories of her victims. So why is she asking when she can just take the information?

I like Rogue going rogue, no more messing around she went straight for the throat.

Unfortunately the general never did cared about helping or harming mutants but I think he should make deals with people that wouldn't make himself a target during a witch hunt.

She didn't always have those powers but she held onto Ms marvel (carol Danvers before she became captain marvel ) for so long she permanently absorbed some of her abilities and memories

I was very Surprised that General Ross had a Cameo in X-Men '97 and I hope we get to see a Hulk vs. Wolverine Episode in X-Men '97 at some Point, just a Like in Wolverine and the X-Men from 2009. Because in this X-Men Cartoon there was an Episode in which Wolverine fights the Hulk!
