You don’t realize what your live bait goes through till you see it 😂 kinda felt bad for the little guy. And that surfboard of a mackerel you caught was insane… bring it down to snapper rocks and get a 10 second barrel on that sucker! Man Australia is the place to live 🤙🏼

Awesome Spanish! So much to see in this video! I reckon the little fish that was harassing your live bait was a grinner. Then when I saw the remora swim under the bait, I wondered why it didn’t try to hit the bait. Neck minute! Then the turtle just casually swimming around. And then the live bait trying to get back into the boat with all the baby Mahi Mahi around it made for some interesting footage.

The underwater camera looks like it takes a lot of patience but I think the real shot here was the water straight SPRAYIN off that Penn when the Spaniard was throwing down on the drag... I mean there is NO BETTER FEELING than being sprayed by a peeling reel!!!! Yessss man!!!! Nice fish ya dog!!!!

Hey Rod what maps do you use on your sounder, and also on your phone for finding ground? Navionics got rid of my favourite overlay (the blue overlay) and find the coloured depth overlay not nearly as good for finding pinnacles / holes. My maps on my Lowrance elite ti2 shows next to no details either

The trick to catching mahi-mahi in Florida, is to catch one and leave him on the line, let him run with some line, this attracts other mahi-mahi, wondering what Larry is attracted to…Then rinse and repeat multiple times...
