​@synth.s Hi i was going to the yamaha montage m8x in my country for $6000 but im getting the older yamaha montage 8 for $4088. What do you think i should do? Thanks

New montage m8x definitely has better sound quality, much better keybed, and too many more features, including ANX sound engine. If the price doesn't matter, go with m8x. Otherwise, the original montage is still a very powerful synthesizer.

Yes, it is. You can use it as long as you have the ultimate subscription package, or you can buy all the longlife key expansions and own it at a very hefty price!!

Its not an instrument. Its like Aturia Labs a front end for existing instruments. Unify is the same. Even a bit like Mainstage which really is Logic pro instruments underneath

Mainstage can manage any vst instruments or hardware, not just logic instruments

Thanks. I haven’t been able to use my expression pedal cc11 on Galaxias. Any suggestions please how to get it working, I also have the fantom.

Choose your midi channel while you are pressing the shift. In the parameter column on the left, choose pitch and select what you wanted to be controlled by the PB wheel.

@@synth.s Thanks, when I get home I’ll do a bit more searching. It’s a foot controller expression pedal that I want to assign to the volume of the synths within Galaxias.
