Hello there! I have a few questions: 1) How ist the feeling of the keys? Compared to the old model and Go:Piano? 2) How are the piano sounds? Are they the same as in the old model? I’d appreciate your kindness for taking the time to answer. Thanks!

The key feel is much better imo- the tones respond much better to dynamic playing, as opposed to the original GO:KEYS which I find more difficult to interact with.

I saw a few review videos about this keyboars, including expert jazz pianists, for ex. Masataka Kono, he said in one od his Go:Keys 3 videos that he finds the keys stiff, and sometimes loud notes pop out, so we have to play it veey carefullt to avoid unwanted accentes lous notes because od the stiffness od the keybed. Personally I can trust his opinion on the keybed confidently, becauase he plays delicate stuff on high level on other keyboards and digital pianos and real pianos, and if HE (the expert) has problem playing without random accented notes popping out randomly, then intermediate and beginner piano players will have even bigger issue with the keybed than the experrs have. (PS. Thank you for your reply BTW, I appreciate it! I am still researching online this Go:Keys 3 and 5 until I find a music shop in my area that has one and hopefullt they allow to try it for trting out the keybed, but unfortunatelly they don't have it in syock at the moment, so I'm just continuing searching newee videos about it, and hopefully there will be some other high level pop or jazz pianists who gonna review thias keyboard, and specifically its keybed.)

@Acrimonious_Snake8 ай бұрын
@@kaisfp I have a CT-S500. The effects suck, the reverb and delay are poor, the resonant sounds are poor, synth sounds are poor. Bass sounds are poor and very quiet. Piano sound and keybed are great, that is why I use my CT-S500 as a practicing keyboard. The AiX sound engine sounds clean, but still flat in comparisoun with any Roland. Most of CASIO sounds only change loudness when react to key velocity and usually have only one velocity layer of sample. Roland's approach to sound design is far superior, lots of multisample sounds, better filter behaviour, more low-end, better resonant sounds, up to four layers of sound within a single patch. The CT-S500 sounds like a GM module from the early 90s. Good, but Roland sound is much better, especially synth sounds.

Does anyone have issues with some keys being unresponsive? First I thought I needed to adjust to the keybed (coming from a yamaha, never used a roland before) but I notice that I need to press the same key twice to get a sound out or to be able to modulate the velocity. Anyone else experienced something similar? I don’t want to go the route of return and reorder. I read in some fora that some of these issues are bugs and can be fixed by updating the go keys…
