I have too many knives and your videos are dangerous because of the temptations they create. But, since I found them I am addictted. They are so beautifully made, as beautiful as the knives themselves. I am slowly working through your past videos and trying to keep my credit cards hidden :-). Thank you for making such lovely videos and introducing us to so many fine examples of the European cutlery world.

Tartan trousers, I believe. Not shirts. UK punks wore tartan trousers, sometimes with bondage straps attached. They were probably first sold in Malcolm Mclaren's & Vivienne Westwood's shop.

Moin Stefan, I enjoyed the comeback of the Schmalhaus' video reviews on KZbin. Perfection to the point. Well done. When I saw the first pictures of the Punk, I thought it must be a Perceval. It seems, Perceval raised it's own competitor. No doubt, it is a very well made pocket table knife. But I would prefer a more compact version for my daily cutting tasks beside the table. I'm going to stick to my Le Français, as my table knife of choice, for a while and will use my smaller pocket knives for everything else. But it is worth to keep an eye on Roland's upcoming work. That's for sure. Thank you.

Beautiful and creative and playful knife design. I like it very much. It is very very expensive though when looked at through the eyes of the Canadian Dollar! Sadly it might stay outside the realm of affordability for me. Which as a knife fan, a "Foodie" and a punk...saddens me more than just a little. Thanks for the review!

Can you carry these in Germany? I wanted to bring my pocket knife with me but didn't look up laws before hand.
@IliaTernovich5 жыл бұрын
This is actually one of the very few knives which are absolutely legal in Germany according to §42a. It is not possible to open it with one hand (even with gloves, like some "especially meticulous " policeman try to do here), at least on my exemplar detent is pretty good. Quality is top notch, real masterpeace.
@StefanSchmalhaus5 жыл бұрын
Well, it takes some weird finger acrobatics, but you can open the knife with one hand if you really want to.
@IliaTernovich5 жыл бұрын
@@StefanSchmalhaus I suppose it depends on concrete exemplar, due to the fact that this is custom knife, not a mass production ("von der Stange"). Mine has such a strong detent, that even gloves don't help :)
@StefanSchmalhaus5 жыл бұрын
@@IliaTernovich Gloves make it more difficult - not easier.
@IliaTernovich5 жыл бұрын
@@StefanSchmalhaus This is also very individual and depends on gloves (material). Some add more grip, others makes things even worse, you're right. Just to make it clear, I'm referring to those, which are used by LEO (Law Enforcement Officer)
@rolandlannier94922 жыл бұрын
I actually designed it with that thing in mind. You can tell the cops it's a 2 hands opening knife but if you train a little, you might be able to open it with one.

As of March 2015, the knife costs 300 EUR here in Germany. I usually don't mention prices in my reviews because they change over time.

Pinki2019 $300 of what dollars? US, Canadian, Australian? - You see, this is the problem with mentioning prices in my reviews. I have viewers from many different countries. And not only prices change over time, exchange rates do as well.
