Wow! This is one fantastic watch. You must really be somebody. To have an AD personally call you and offer you this watch means that you are one very important special person. It must be nice to be you 😊. Titanium is my favorite watch material and I own quite a few of them. This particular watch I don't own and I guarantee you no AD will be calling offering me the watch.

I'm not sure about being a very important special person, but I agree, it is nice to be me. It was a good call to get. I enjoy heavy metal watches, just as much as light ones. I'm not sure yet, what I prefer, but I've not had this watch off since I got it.

I can’t tell from the video is it a really flashy piece or is it subdued and kind of like a sub or does it just stand out like a Daytona looks like flash and glimmer like it catches your eye?

@@XrpCopper there are only two tiny bits of polished metal, are on the shoulders of the crown guard. It's a very subdued Rolex, the most stealthy. It's different in many ways from the sub, and other than the oyster bracelet design, and easy link clasp has little to do with the Daytona. The numbers on the all black bezel are polished as well. The metal is darker than steel, the dial is matt black, and it's significantly lighter on wrist. Hope that helps.

@ the thing about Rolex, you can spot a Rolex a mile away, the bracelets are so obvious. As far as Rolex goes, it's as subtle as you can buy on a bracelet without buying oysterflex. I hope you get one, if you are chasing it. Thanks for your thoughtful comments.

@@riktrink buy watches from your AD, it's rarer than a panda Daytona at the moment. You'll probably have to buy precious metal watches, but in time, the price and demand might drop to a level you can buy it from your AD without jumping through those hoops, like the other Yachtmaster watches. Hands down the best watch Rolex make, I have a Tudor pelagos LHD, owned since 2021, no scratches on the bracelet as yet, but I have worn it on the Tudor rubber strap it also comes with. Very very lucky to own that, I have a £15k spend history with my Ad and I am not going to be offered this any time soon. Got my first Rolex in February a Dj41 Wimbledon jubilee/fluted, so next should be a sport watch 🤞🏻

The Tudor Pelagos is a watch I've loved from a distance for a while, I particularly like the blue dial, with the lumed bezel. That's an okay spend to reasonably ask for whatever you like with your AD. By the sounds of it, you're collecting, which is the best home a watch can go to. Two bits of advice; be specific in what you want with the AD. Ask for one watch, not five, discuss timeline and when you should reasonably should expect it. Second, be vigilant, not a pest, but let them know you are ready to roll in with your Mastercard and buy if given the call, make it easy for the AD to sell you the watch. The Wimbledon is a nice piece, I had it on jubilee and round bezel for a brief period. Enjoy the hunt.

@@watch_dials thanks for the reply, on my list is the 40mm yachtmaster with the grey dial, and the sprite gmt2. On my last visit to the Ad they showed me the blue/black variant and asked if I would like that or any of the other GMT’s I said yeah but only the steel variants on either bracelet they did say I wouldn’t be offered anything this year so that helps planning ahead!

The yachtmaster rhodium dial should be quite attainable, it's a lovely watch. I had one many years ago. It's very bright and with a lot of reflective metal, it's really striking in sunlight. You should definitely ask for this first, it'll arrive sooner! The sprite, I've only seen a couple in the wild, I think they're still in limited supply. You like what you like, stick to that, make the sales person aware you'd be there within 24 hours of being called, or you'll transfer the money the day of being offered the watch. The sales folk like an easy sale, so make it easy for them. Good luck!

I have one of these. Agree that it’s the best watch Rolex make. Only slight annoyance is the omission of a glidelock but stealth, thin profile, gunmetal colour and Matt dial - class. Will never sell it.

Enjoy wearing it. I've not worn anything since buying it. I do love the colour, and overall aesthetic. Glidelock is great, but in a broader 21/17mm bracelet, the glidelock clasp is so much bigger than easy-link, I like the easy-link size on this watch. Maybe I'm just becoming a content collector, I doubt that, I can hope for that though.

Yes I’m not sure how the dimensions of the clasp differ from the precious metal 42mm YMs but they both have glidelock - just thought it was an odd omission; and I had to get an extra titanium link.

@@watch_dials I have many other brands and many micro brands. I’ve bought Longines, Tag Heuer, etc. my favorite is a 2011 Omega Planet Ocean 42. It’s the only watch I’ve ever had serviced - simply because it’s the watch I’ve owned the longest. The whole AD game of “buy this watch you don’t want to get the watch you DO want” is no good and I wouldn’t play it. One AD I went to - the salesperson started checking his phone when he asked and I told him my “best” piece was an Explorer 2. I’ve owned many many watches and can clearly say Omega is as good in every way as Rolex. I sold my Explorer 2 and Tudor Black Bay recently to get an Aqua Terra. Just not I’m impressed with Rolex and really never have been. Many many microbrands outperform them on bracelets, too - I have many examples of that as well.

Appreciate the video and I like it, but don't quite love it after seeing it in further detail like this. The Sub 41 is still king; due to the glidelock and superior bezel action. I'd probably go Rhodium 40 for the YM, if looking to move in that direction further down the line!

@@xavious5017 the submariner date is closer than the rhodium yachty, to this RLX yachty. Either way, there isn't a bad watch out of what you've mentioned, but they are different looking, and all wear differently.

I have not worn my 2023 Submariner since picking up my YM 42mm RLX Ti. From my AD early last month. You really appreciate it once you see it in person and wear it for an hour.

I tried it on and it’s unbelievably light in weight….. I mean to the point that I actually hated it!!! Looks great but I like to have some heft….. this felt lighter than a g shock which was really off putting.

@@johnprosser5035 The bracelet is what makes it feel very light, the case still has the movement. I know what you mean though, I initially found it disconcerting. I enjoy wearing heavy metal, but once you have any watch on your wrist, you don't feel the weight, at least I don't. 💪

I’ve been waiting over a year and a half for this watch on the waitlist at two different ADs. No one has seen one yet. So I bought a parody Yuck-Master from RELAX watches (made by some guys in a garage in California). I have no affiliation with them. Glad I got this as a “test watch”. The black watch face is great (matte) on both Y-Masters, just like my first gen Omega Planet Ocean. Unfortunately, the bezel on the Yuck-Master & Yacht-Master are virtually unreadable for a tool watch. No thanks. I’ll stick with the Omega and the RELAX. The Yacht-Master isn’t worth the “upgrade”…

@@JJL206 You're right., the bezel is not particularly clear in low lighting. Where it's particularly legible, is the dial, the markers are bigger, and the hands broader. Regarding the two AD's, they're lying to you, they've definitely had them, probably quite a few. Albeit, it is still rare. Enjoy your Omega, probably a better tool watch.

@@Ben-qn6ws yes, I agree. The maxi dial at a glance with the matt background is so legible. It's like both sides of the crystal have an anti reflective coating, but without the blue hue.
