Hey, are you not at all worried about the Toyota warranty with flashing the ECU? Pretty tough decision to do this or keep the 15 year warranty for resell value

The warranty is a complicated issue and I have talked to my reseller about it. It is not as simple as one might think what gets void or not. In terms of resell value. I just want to drive and have fun so I chase after the experience. I use one of the most renowned tuning firms in Sweden and that communicates quality. Now the Yaris Gen 1 is not an expansive car to buy compared to most other brands so the value can only drop so much if I screw everything up.

Let me add that hopefully this car will be owned by another entusiast that chases the experience like I do. For the right buyer this car could be very valuable. Especially when we are done rebuilding it to an European GRMN spec this spring. Stay tuned for more content!

@@Henriksson22 bilen har 326 HK och 420 Nm i vrid. Den har eventuri-insug och fullt Akrapovic avgassystem. Den effekt jag har är max om du inte byter ut ventilfjädrar och kamaxlar med mera. Släpper möjligen en film där jag pratar om vad jag gjort med bilen. Det är som en prolog till denna film. Är det något du skulle vilja se så kan jag klippa till den och lägga upp.

@@Henriksson22 Nej, ingen ny downpipe. Kanske en racekat hade varit något? Det är JRM Racing som har gjort jobbet och de kan Yarisen utan och innan. Det går kanske att plocka ut mer men vi vill inte spränga motorn! De har för övrigt fått upp effekten på en annan GR Yaris Gen 1 till 500 HK men där har de bytt massa interna delar i motorn. Problemet med 500 HK är att man behöver en större turbo och då får man mer turbolag vilket är problematiskt när man kör på bana. Vad jag vet kan man få upp effekten till nära 400 HK med en liten turbo. Jag lovar att släppa en video om vi testar det!

@@Revisorsracer ja det var till Jrm jag tänkte optimera bilen. Ja det är sjuka siffror på en liten 3-cylle. Runt 380hk hade varit coolt. Men då lär man byta kam & fjädrar?

Those are 2 different things, people like Manual because they can control the car more while driving, automatic is for pussys, lambos and Ferraris comes with automatic because it's easier to control the car at high speeds, Especially on the track, mostly what the car is made for
