Well done! This may be my favorite live Stones performance of all time. The guitar interplay between Keith and Taylor is so beautiful. Mick Taylor’s tasteful licks are just so perfect.... maybe one day we will get a soundboard recording??

I was there I remember standing back of the forum where you could walk around the arena when they played this. A haunting version of this song. All the fireworks that went off wrecked the begining of this song. That show was a strange outing. I've seen the stones enough to get a good picture of them. The 75 tour with Ronnie wood at the forum most enjoyable for sure. This concert lacked energy. Lots of dead spots for sure. I'm not one of those MT is God dudes either. MT was great much different than RW greatness. MT would tell you that too. He has big respect for RW. Keef was a mess that night at the forum inn 73 & the stones were finished as a band w/MT months later. I remember buying tickets in the forum parking lot for that show in 73 with bad money.😮...That's how we rolled at 16 yrs old. Great times

I remembered driving home from the concert...At the red lights, I would hear the other car AM radios tuned to the Rolling Stones playing. This could not happen today with so many choices. Wolfman Jack could have been the host. We can have this artistic energy today, without drugs, and instead with lots of traditional family values.

Remember it like it was yesterday. Our tickets cost $25 and spent 3-4 days in a parking lot to get them. Mick some kind of white jumpsuit I think with a cape. The stage was also white with ramps built over the amps for Mick to run up and down during Midnight Rambler. Santana / Cheech and Chong were openers.

What sublimity that the Stones brought to an era already wricked by the desolation of death, starting with Brian, then Jimi, Janis, Jim, Duane & Berry, Danny, and Graham. This song and this version of it make me cry for a whole era so full of utopian hope and happiness, when girls in America actually loved sex and good music, and the fanged Plutocracy had not fully destroyed the cosmopolises of LA, SF, and NY, cities were one could be an artist or even just a great fan: great works need great audiences. Now all there is wafts as ashes and dashed, shredded dreams.

Behold the perfect portrait of the doomed romantic and erotically keen, far truer today than when written, or performed in 1973 : but few could ever know so in a modernity as sick as this.
