I am in the process of selling my airplane. I will use the cash to purchase a MaxxD and 2 20yd dumpster set up. It will be a side hustle with the intention of being full time. I have 3 daughters that are homeschooled. I want to build a business that my girls can take over one day if they choose to do so. Thank you for all the videos and information.

Late to the video but me and my fiance had an opportunity that paid $300/day doing dock work at an airport warehouse and we picked up and moved worked almost every day for 7 months racked up quite a bit hotels were provided so that helped. But $4k a week between the two of us really helped us stack up and now we have a pretty successful dumpster business. And still growing.

These videos rock. Can you talk about what kind of education you did to be ready for this? Did you go to college or learn on the go?
@rollingops
@rollingops 3 жыл бұрын
I guess I could! I did go to college, but for marketing and advertising. Now I'm a trashman, landlord and mortgage lender? College was a bit of a requirement in my family and mainly showed me what I didn't want to do my entire life, I did a lot of my own research on investments and making passive income.

I started a Robinhood Act & a Webull account. I used my excess money to invest in stocks and crypto. After the 2020 year, I saved 10K, ended up with about 14K in the account in growth. I used 13K to buy a dump bed trailer. Haven’t put it to junk work yet, but I’m moving along.

I bought a property on back taxes. It has 2 garages and the smallest will become a tiny house. Going full solar with 600 ah of battery to start. Second garage so I can work on my own stuff in doors. Eventually but cars cheap strip it for parts and put them on ebay. After I get the property all set up yes I'm getting 2 dumpster and a cheap diesel truck and set up business. At that time I can cover the cost of the dumpsters with my full-time job become my cost of living 100% off grid will only be about $500/year not including property taxes. I'll have rss/mobile tire service, dumpsters and ebay. Everything earned will go to building the company for the next 4 years. Cost of living so low it I need to jump full-time rss would keep me in a good position and the rest can go into the business. Plan A and a plan B that I've worked the numbers on and will continue to do so. Aiming to bump to a class A cdl in next 3 months and let my job cover the cost. Car will be paid off in 2 weeks. Then it's hustle and save to $18k. Work on health, study, work, repeat

@rollingops

14 and 20s are what I run. I probably run both equally as much now. But residential typically want 14 yard. I started with one single dumpster. But if you can get more I recommend it. I need 3 almost immediately, but I marketed hard

I think it is ok, but then you have to worry about batteries, tires, brakes, registration and insurance on each trailer if you start to grow and buy more. Just depends on your end goal!

What happens when your business fails? What happens with your house mortgage?
@rollingops

Thats a lot of what ifs. You can always give yourself a 1000 reassons not to do something. Sometimes you just need to do it. I have multiple sources of income for this reasson.

If you business fails, you move to something else or fix what’s wrong with your business. You pay your mortgage or you sell your house! Hopefully you’ll have equity! Unlike renting, your payments can come back to you in a home ownership situation! Make moves or get outta the way!

I'm sorry you feel that way?
@EternalBlade
@EternalBlade Жыл бұрын
@@rollingops I'll explain. Sorry the reason I say that is because of the adverse obstacles most people have that you clearly didnt experience. For instance, clearly your mind works at a higher functioning speed than average. Just by what you have explained as your past employment and experience in the professional world I think we can flush that truth out. So youre already way ahead of the curve when it comes to critically thinking ahead of the game to avoid pitfalls and obstacles. Also having the higher brain function enables you to pull an audible if and when an adversity arrises. Secondly and I think this is the best advice, you have touched on this several times but I think this is more of the solid advice to go with. If you are interested in going into a business its best to already have a job in that industry or at least a good enough paying job that you can sock money away to attain more of your goals. Basically using the side hustle theory. Invest slowly in your side hustle until you can make it a full time gig. Thats probably the best advice you have given. IMO. I just thinking using a steady job to fund the dream is the smarter way to get your start up funds. Lees debt, more appreciation.
@rollingops
@rollingops Жыл бұрын
@The Eternal hey I won't really deny any of that! I'm not saying I have higher brain function, or all that. But, I do agree it definitely takes a certain mindset, and it absolutely helps to have a steady paycheck while you are building something. I see people all the time give up on certain gigs or business ideas for reasons I feel like are tolerable or have solutions for. I think some people definitely fit a certain mold. Because I also have seen people dive into things with little research or testing, and failed tragically. while the side hustle to full time job opportunity is a super smart way to go. Appreciate your view and input man!
