That's too bad.
@JustinMatson8 жыл бұрын
+prin christina I HATE flash mobs so much! They're terrifying and there's no escape. Think about it: a huge group of strangers spend months plotting to sneak up and assault you with dance. How deep does this conspiracy go? Hey you know that guy you thought was your mailman? No, he's an undercover dancer who's been staking out your apartment since Christmas. And I can't go to a food court now without being afraid someone's gonna break into song and shake corn dogs like maracas. I can't take the bus without living in fear that a gang of hooligans are gonna twerk all the exits. It's like getting forced to watch a show I never bought tickets to.

1st We should have musical flashmobs instead of riots. 2nd, Are the people filming with their phones part of the flashmob to make it look more spontaneous or are they just people recording?
@petinachambersmcvay84826 жыл бұрын
Windsweptzariel just people trying to catch the moment. Usually, flash mobs have a cameraman setup to record their events

We should have more flash mobs.
@thearchbishopofcanterbury79518 жыл бұрын
Great flash mob. I wonder how often (if ever) people not in on the stunt actually join in the dancing. It's a great opportunity to do something completely spontaneous for once in your boring, hum-drum life. I also wonder why so many people feel the need to film everything on their phones - don't they know that the organisers are bound to be recording it. And why view life through a viewfinder anyway? You get a better view if you just use your eyes. And you do have a memory, you know.
@marty38888 жыл бұрын
Very well said. What has happened to people these days? So much hate hate hate! I love th shot of those Arabs smiling. This is what the Taliban and Islamic extremists hate. I bet they would kill those Arabs. I wonder if those extremists are even human?
@dafneydorothy10128 жыл бұрын
recording things on phones let you keep the memory for yourself. from you own PvP. sure you can probably see a better angle with the one the organizer filmed but I think it is nicer yo have it for yourself as well. but I don't really like when people record artist singing (byeonce, lady gaga, etc) I feel that its a little offensive but still, you can always hold that memory
@Lyw12345678908 жыл бұрын
Lol who's to say you'll even be able to find the exact moment you were at on the Internet? It's not like they pass out the name of the future video to all the spectators. And some events are filmed but never get posted on the Internet. Stop being so hateful of technology, it's outdated
@Lyw12345678908 жыл бұрын
My memory is awful. I love capturing moments so I can look back on them verbatim instead of the memory fading after a day or two. As an avid lover of art and photography it's a blessing to have phones that can easily capture high quality pictures instead of lugging my 5 pound camera to every event, because that's what I often used to do. Where's the harm in taking a picture or video that you can show others to share the moment? There's literally no bad thing about it. It's like your grandmother showing you photo albums of you as a child. You don't remember shit about that but you're bound to be interested about what you were doing then, or how you looked. Before phones there were cameras, before cameras there were drawings, and you don't see people yelling about those. Did you know that while the titanic was sinking, some guy on a life boat drew it while it was happening? So yeah, don't talk about capturing moments like its some new evil thing. Relive the special moments in life.
@thearchbishopofcanterbury79518 жыл бұрын
I didn't say you shouldn't ever take a photo, or film something. Of course not. In fact, I regret not taking videos of my kids when they were little - they were so beautiful and funny and cute and I can remember hardly anything from those days! (I have some nice photos of them, though). But I do think people whip out the camera phone for any reason or no reason at all these days. Like, if I see a really good busker on my walk to work, I'll stop and listen, but I don't feel the need to FILM the performance and put it on Facebook. If I go to a restaurant and have a great meal, I see no reason at all to TAKE A PICTURE of my meal and put that on Facebook. Save the camera for something really worthwhile, that's all I'm saying.
