Very true. I too wonder how wonder could believe that having the gift of eternal life could mean one could lie, gossip/talk smack about other people, curse, discriminate others, smoke weed, drink, get into fights etc. Salvation has always been from Satan's works, not within them!

I fully agree with your message. A life of sin as a consequence leads straight into spiritual death. It was always that way - even when Satan desperately wants to hide this fact. Right from the beginning he said: "Ye shall not surely die..." I think that especially Penal Substitution Atonement Theology sets people up to be somewhat blinded, when it comes to passages like this one. The sin problem is not fixed with an alleged payment.
