I struggle with drug addiction. Romans chapters 6-8 are like medicine to my body. I read them everyday because i desire for the spirit of the Lord to dwell in me.

Drugs and any life destructive addiction is really the symptom, because condemnation by evil spirits and principalities have deliberately attacked your common sensabilities and judgements against your own life and your free will to make it purposeful under GOD ALMIGHTY🌅 Admitting who you are in Yeshuati the savior of your life, is the narrow path that few will take because they don't know how the Holy Spirit has worked to come for you in peace, and to give you a true rest from the blinded world around us. Never give up and Never give in to thieves and liars of life eternal again. False prophets can never steal what does not belong to them in Christ, we can surrender Our Spirits only unto the One True GOD, where demons cannot find us. This is what it means to put on the Armor of GOD and fight the good fight that is in the Spirit! AMEN 🌅HALLELUYAH 🌅

For me trying to walk out the Christian life, in my own strength was exhausting and that speaks to me of my ‘flesh’. I had to get to the point when I was so sick, that I had to say help me to know you, to see you as ‘friend’, to understand what the scriptures are saying with my heart and not just my brain, because I cannot do this anymore by myself.It was at that point that I felt peace joy rest and release by being real.He started quickening Scriptures to me and in that place of rest I started to be able to hear his voice through my thoughts which randomly came into my head and usually unctions about what I should do.Scriptures that I had studied declared over and over but never used to work for me, as I looked at them with HIS Holy Spirit leading started to make sense and I feel like I’m becoming a living epistle.I run to him with everything now, every negative thoughts or situation and every feeling and just say help me and he does

Roman’s 8 is such a powerful scripture for those who are fearful of their salvation! It’s so soothing and shows how much god loves us in-spite of our mess

i read Romans 8..again.i'm trying to understand.the reason i'm going through problems .is because the flesh has to die daily, so the spirit can really work.i'm trying ..i'm going to continue to study...thank Bt..

Lots to take away in Romans but what God is showing me in chapters 6, 7 and 8, is that in six Paul intros God the Father and the laws. In 7, Paul speaks of Jesus and the laws and in 8 Paul introduces the Holy Spirit. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Love these books! Thanks for your teachings in them as well! Blessings.

My thought is that in all our deeds and thoughts we should ask the question, is this powered by flesh thinking or spiritual thinking. I did something good this week that I’m certain was spiritual in that it truly helped lots of people. In the process, I had a moment where I wondered if anyone was watching me do it. A question rose up in my spirit,”are you doing this to be seen?” I challenged myself throughout the day to keep this act quiet, saying that if I brought attention to this deed, then what I had done was for the flesh. If I kept it quiet, it was being done for the spirit. So for me, the upshot is that we should challenge ourselves in all we do to answer, are you operating with an eye to spirit or flesh?

is this another bible that edited it other than king James??? Romans 8:1 says "THere is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in christ Jesus, who walks not after the flesh, but after the spirit. I dont' see the ending part. It skips into verse 2.
@Edmundjr203 Жыл бұрын
What I I think it means to live in the spirit is, to not live in our sinful desires, without being aware, that they are sinful. I don’t think it means that living in the spirit we shall never fall into sin, I think it means that when we have the spirit, it tells us that our sin is wrong. Whereas, a person not living in the spirit might be in sin, but doesn’t feel as though it is wrong, because they do not have the holy spirit.
@Akal_Esh72 жыл бұрын
We can stop sinning and repent and turn away from it every time we sin it's it's like crucifying the messiah all over again get out of flesh and walk in spirit to do this you need to die daily and follow the laws and commandments that he gave us for the law tells us what is wrong the law is NOT done away with!
@yamomma5053 Жыл бұрын
Explain how u have stopped sinning when u don’t even know every sin there is. Stop being self righteous. Sayinf the law is done away with is not saying live and do anything it’s saying that the law does not determine your salvation ! You may think you keep the law but you don’t! None of us do nor can! If we could then Jesus didn’t have to die
