Thank you for an honest review. You shoot straight from the hip and always call a spade, a spade. More power to you.

Top review, accurate as well. I have a box of these things and at first you think there isn't anything to them but when you slow the pace down and really savor it, a few of the nice cedar/hay type flavours start showing themselves. All the 'muted' versions of classic Cuban RYJ flavours. Tasty little sticks that cost about US$89 a box. Thumbs up, cheers from Oz

I had a season where I smoke RandJ - to me yes they have good value and taste for Cuban cigars. they are usually light to moderate and just gives you the right time, experience and kick you need.

I had the pleasure of meeting you in Niagara Falls, you are a very lovely person. I really enjoyed the review with all the tie ins to Niagara Falls. I have had these a couple of times and you are right, they are a nice quick cigar that are really nice, but you don't have to think much about.

One of my faves. A great Cuban habano without breaking the bank. I was gifted a few of those on my last visit to the Casa De Trova in Santiago de Cuba earlier this year. Keep up the great work. i'll look forward to more of your reviews.

Was there in June. Met the owner, great guy, nice shop. Bought a few cigars and he threw in a bag of Cuban coffee. Thanks for the review

I bought a box of Cedros De luxe n3 while in San Andres. What a lovely smoke! This is a must, now I pack a few on my humidor every time. Very recommended.

That plume you mention is most likely mold considering it was stored in a cedar sleeve and cedar sleeved cigars tend to grow mold just like tubos do.
@baka865 жыл бұрын
I haven't had issues with mold and these cedar sleeves....they are open ended sleeves and store perfectly fine in my humidor.

people think cigars are expensive but most spend triple on coffee everyday.. nothing beats a good cigar. .

You think most people drink 12 liters of coffe every day? (that is how much coffe you get here for the price of one of these here times 3) (not even the most expensive coffee you can get at the most expensive coffee bar gets even close to the price of a cheep cigar here)

Delicia, How were you able to bring those Cubans back to the states? I am going to Canada and would like to bring back some back with me.
@naf43618 жыл бұрын
Hey Delicia, glad you came down to Canada, nothing like northern hospitality lol. Did you have a chance to try R&J Churchill, and wide Churchill while you were down here? Or in Havana?
@CIGARVIXEN8 жыл бұрын
I did not try the Churchill while I was in Cuba, but I think I have one in my humidor.

+CIGARVIXEN One area you mentioned regarding smoking indoors, that's one area which sort of sucks here in Toronto Canada, is you can't smoke indoors. We used to have designated smoking zones at restaurants, but a law went into place where you can't smoke anywhere at a public establishment a few years ago. You can still smoke at cigar lounges in Quebec Canada they allow you to smoke indoors.

Nice review. I'm curious. In shops where Cubans can compete legally with non-Cubans, which non-Cuban lines were still getting shelf space?
@swaggerbauer8 жыл бұрын
shouldn't be a problem. outside the US the they are next to each other in stores and you just get more variety :) It'll be interesting though what happens to Brands that exist in the US that actually were there firt in Cuba. But someone under an embargo can't sue anyone because of brand names. Some things will have to change in that regard.

Lovely review. Summed these badgers up perfectly. Cheap, pleasant and affordable. Sad that the band is attached to the cedar 😟 I like mine on the stick ✌🏻 You looked quite happy but also perplexed 😆 #skippedthe2nd3rd

I was under the Impression that you could only bring Cubans in from Cuba, not Canada. Has that been changed?
@CIGARVIXEN8 жыл бұрын
I brought Cubans back from both Canada and Cuba recently. I know there is a set retail value amount you are allowed.

sadley u r correct....u cannot bring back Cuban cigars from Canada but who's telling eh? from the cbp website.... "Persons authorized to travel to Cuba may purchase alcohol and tobacco products while in Cuba for personal consumption while there. Authorized travelers may return to the United States with up to $100 worth of alcohol or tobacco or a combination of both. Products acquired in Cuba may be in accompanied baggage, for personal use only. Purchasing Cuban-origin cigars and/or Cuban-origin rum or other Cuban-origin alcohol over the internet or while in a third country (i.e. not Cuba) remains prohibited. "

I seen a Romeo & Julieta today in the local cigar shop. I live in Upstate NY, so could it have been a fake? I thought Cuban cigars were banned in the U.S?

@xibxang8 жыл бұрын
I might be the only person in the world who thinks this, but the only reason why I smoke RYJ cigars is because I can get them dirt cheap from Spain. In the UK, a RYJ Cedros No.1 will cost you about £15 (~$19) and in my opinion it's just not worth that price.

I’m in Canada we have nasty tariffs as well but lucky for me my US orders come in tax free. Haven’t had a Cuban yet won’t pay 20 bucks here I’ll have to get them from Cuba either myself or if friend visits
