I remember hearing a phone call to Ron and Fez in which the caller criticized the fact that Earl constantly prefaces his responses with the word no when it isn't appropriate and he denied it. I have noticed that he's done it so many times I am not sure whether it's been thirty or fifty within the first 5:25 of this segment.

I just heard that bit but can't remember which episode it was, I leave KZbin on autoplay when I go to sleep so my history is a bit skewed. It might have been "earl bangs a mental patient/al dukes" episode. "I'm usually responding to a yes or no question" was the only sentence he got out before he started with a "no" again.

Dave was the worlds worst actor. He might have been the weakest person to ever do this kind of radio. Ron is one of those dudes that is more comfortable with people that are less talented than him. He wants to be in control, but does it in a self-destructive way. Ron&Fez was great, but he could have had an O&A level show if he wasn't threated by talent. He always had to be the funniest, sharpest, and most clever guy under any circumstances. He used to go on O&A and kill. He didn't want to do it everyday though. He likes playing with a loaded deck. funny motherfucker though.

You need to listen more. Ron openly admits he never wanted to work a day in his life and that's why he loved Fez. He said Fez was always funnier than him and Ron was riding Fez's coat tails until Fez fell apart. Fez was the funny guy and Ron just got beat down dealing with fez and his mental issues.
