Saw Ron Simmons touring with WWE in Belfast 2002. He was on the mike joking with D--Von that he didn't see too many people like them in Belfast and he might just stay here and increase the population. Crowd laughed, he had a lot of charisma.

Ron Simmons is a man that you need to treat with respect. A man’s man. He wasn’t upset. The interviewer just thought he was upset because he isn’t used to be talked to by a strong man, in both physically and mentally. The questions should have been better thought out.

As a Black man, I don't get why cats like Booker T and Ron Simmons diss WCW like they do. Maybe cause WWE was the only business in town at the time of the interview. At least WCW gave you the strap, and that's in '93! In the South! WWE ain't start treating black wrestlers right until Hulk Hogan racist comments. Like they ain't really started testing for drugs until the Beniot incident. WCW treated wrestlers better! Than WWE ever did.

Sad that Ron was so unprofessional during this interview. The guy was just asking questions that were asked to other pro wrestlers. He could have handled this better. I believe he was in a bad mood that day and for whatever reason took it out on the interviewer.

@@iSiberianHusky Its obvious thats what was going on. Are you deaf? You could hear Ron all throughout the interview being rude and combative. If you cant see that than you are just of a "mark" like the others. All I was saying is that he could have handled it better. I guarantee you if you saw him at an airport or anywhere out in public and asked him for an autograph and he responded to you like in this interview you would be whining about it for years so stop being so ignorant. He was rude and thats it.

He could’ve framed it better. “ did you have any particular interactions with Jim Herd?” Rather than: “bdoh I heard not a lotta people had great things to say about him. “

@@Sleeveusalone Yes that is all Im saying. He could have handled it better. Look we all make mistakes and all of us have had a bad day or two. Maybe that was the case here but you still have to be professional for goodness sakes. This was after all an interview.

@@blackjackhammer21 but even with the two questions about Ole Anderson were half assed. Even then, the guy was talking over Ron less than a minute in.

it was hilarious putting basically the only two Jacked figured in black guys under masks as if fans weren't going to know who it was.... It would've made sense if they did the switch-a-roos where the ref didn't know they'd switched without a tag or whatever but they never figured the masks into the gimmicks. dumb

World Championship, World Tag Championship. Then he went to WWE and, uh, played cards repeating one word over and over....... Yep, WCW did him wrong. I do like "If it wasn't illegal, I'd probably be in jail".
