Brooks Gillespie Reagan should have been impeached for the Iran-Contra scandal, Nixon’s reputation is stained for eternity because of a few wiretaps but Reagan gets a pass. He was anything but a class act, he played the role of the ‘nice old man’ perfectly to hide what he really was like, he was an actor after all.

Gradualism. It's a term that applies here. You don't notice changes that take place over 40 years. I agree that it is important to recognize our state of health and fitness. Becoming fat and complacent is what kills societies, just look at the Roman Empire. And to think, in the 80's we thought we were fat then. Little did we know where we would be in 2022.

It's hard to impress upon my children what Ronald Reagan meant to our country at that point in our history. All I've had are videos like this and some of his speeches to give them a taste of what character, decency, and true leadership looks and sounds like. A president who can win election and re-election by the largest electoral landslide in U.S. history has the unequivocal support of his countrymen from both parties, and has earned it. Reagan certainly did. To have him as my governor for eight years when I was a kid growing up in CA and then to have him as president for eight years had a lasting impression on me and my expectations for other politicians seeking the job -- and I must say that none have measured up to Reagan's example in my lifetime.

Interesting how you see Reagan in two different composures. First as a rancher, relaxed, shoulders forward and entertaining guests. His age becomes apparent during that phase of the video. The other, a world leader, standing tall with good posture, giving instructions to an aide. A awesome video, I just wish the audio revealed what was so funny towards the end.

Reagan experienced a 7% GDP during his tenure and was recognized as the leader of the capitalist free part of the world. America had clear hegemony during this time so yes, he was considered a world leader. Before you make stupid comments, educate yourself in what a world leader actually is.

It's polite chit chat. It only takes practice. The key is to be genuine while minding your manners. After a cordial greeting, the Bushes find nice things to say about the ranch and the Reagans are modest about in return. They have all spent a lifetime doing this. George H W Bush was a Globalist, tax and spend, CIA head, backstabber.

President Reagan and President Bush are class acts. I love the way they are spending the time here casually with no tension, just two friends meeting at their ranch talking about landscape and pump. I would have loved to shake hands with these leaders. I am a naturalized citizen and a democrat. But, I will vote for these leaders anytime. Their grasp of issues and the way they can articulate them have always amazed me. Most importantly, these were very compassionate and caring individuals. I am sure they are in peace in the heaven. I wish the current leaders can be as calm and compassionate to people, no matter their political affiliation.

Let’s reunite together again for our country America’s greatness of safety, prosperity and unity altogether by learning experiences from mistakes together and do better together as a peaceful society to live and build America altogether again. Let’s unite together again by our generosity forgiveness and kindness nature toward each other’s service and mistakes as grace and decency this time and reunite together again govern by our country America’s own established principles together for freedoms, entrepreneurship spirit and equality of opportunities principles as long runs by learning experiences from mistakes together. America’s greatness will be forever as one nation under America’s principles together. Don’t hate each other again, but reunite together and govern by our country America’s own established laws afterwards together. One time generosity forgiveness and kindness nature toward each other’s service, credit, merit and mistakes altogether as our own learning experiences from and decency and grace and do better together year by year from our learning experiences together instead of hatred toward each other’s service and mistakes this time. Learning experiences from mistakes will make us reunite together and do better things quickly together. Let’s do hate each other and unite together again for America’s greatness and future greatness to build America together by our efforts together. I guess the former President Reagan and former President Bush will be our great examples for our nature, efforts and working together for America’s future greatness. I see people longing for the 80's, the fail to remember the ruin the 80's were for the industrial north, literally hundreds of thousands of jobs were lost in the Mahoning and Mon valley, entire cities like Youngstown now sit there like Armageddon had fallen down
