good to see a rig thats not all about big tires and big lift
@cliffbooth70756 жыл бұрын
That’s true. It reflects what most people own, daily driver “real 4wds” with the 2 inch lift and minor bar work. Not the 4 inch lifted Patrols running 35 inch Super Swampers, custom mandrel bent snorkels, double d’locks and thick deep noted exhausts. Was good to see. I personally wouldn’t own a Pajero but I liked the vid. Plus he was s really nice bloke and well spoken.

Gen 3 pajero represent!!!!! Love to see more pajeros in future episodes. Alot more modded out there than this. Very underrated 4x4. A Pajero gen 3/4 with 2 inch lift and standard tyre has more clearance than a patrol with 35 inch tyres

I like it, Pajero very underrated. Intelligent people don’t seem to jump on bandwagons either...

Good one Ronny. I do like how you keep things positive and point out all the good stuff but are not afraid to ask about the not so good either. No showing up the brand or the owners of the brand they spend their hard earned cash on. And I’m sure you have your own opinions but are smart enough to let the owner and the brand shine through. Well done.

He talked about Pajero 4, but made a mistake and said Pajero 3. They are very similar. He said he liked Pajero 2. From my point of view, the only major downside of generation 3 and 4 is the very limited travel of front suspension. And the best is like the owner here said, a very versatile car, good for city and outside it.

Great faith in a 15 year old vehicle to keep investing in it. Just goes to show that if you look after your vehicle how long it will last. I don’t think a 2017 / 18 vehicle will last to 2032 though!
@4wdsome4446 жыл бұрын
Bob Pfaff completely agree, it's the VW theory as mechanics call it pre 2014 diesel VW cars are guaranteed to last forever but the new stuff with all the emissions regulations crap just give up and suffer from cheaper parts the old diesel vans were know to do 250,000 to literally millions of miles, I bought an ex taxi shuttle bus with 1,500,000 MILES on the clock original engine and gearing the newer ones are still capable of 250,000 but it is basically the same engine as the 2011 with more crap and turbos
@cliffbooth70756 жыл бұрын
Petrols will generally go the distance with minimal financial outlay... New model diesel’s though are another story all together. Expect to have to outlay big bucks at the same age. Not like diesels of old with the new emissions technology on them that is plagued with problems. New problems on top of existing problems that the modern diesels already had.
@4wdsome4446 жыл бұрын
assuming your American, in Europe Diesels are substantially cheaper, more reliable and more efficient. but some lack the performance of petrol however that is changing with the incoming of bigger turbos. petrol engines typically only last 100,000 miles whereas diesels last atleast 200,000 if looked after properly much more

Just does everything well. 79 honestly was not as capable as people make them out to be it was overrated. Got bogged in wet grass a few time and thought wtf.
