The last true balls out metal band. I’ve seen hundreds of concerts. Lived in Europe at the height of the NWOBH. Lived in the Bay Area during the Thrash heyday. Seen everything from Pink Floyd to Norwegian Black Metal. Nothing could fuck with Pantera live. Those dudes At their peak, untouchable. A true wrecking ball of pure testosterone and power. Glad I was there to watch it unfold and flourish. What a kickass time to live. While everybody was abandoning the Heavy Metal ship in favor of grunge and alternative, Pantera stepped up with a huge middle finger to all the weak ass trends. They had a no.1 album in the peak of the grunge/alternative scene. Tell me that ain’t badass?! Truly, fuck the world for all its worth, every inch of planet earth.....🤘🏻

I love how Phil simply just ignores what Mike Muir said, because he knew they had it. They didn't have to gloat and expose that, they're this and that, acting like they are the most dope. They knew they had success. They believed in what they were doing and didn't have to answer to such silly statements, because they knew it was a dumb insult, and there was no need to fight back and cause a reaction that the media would eat up.

Part of the reason why these guys got so far is not only because they were amazing musicians and helped revolutionize the genre (especially for guitar players), but also because the charisma. These guys are just regular partying dudes at the end of the day.
