I have some recordings from those early days by the late Ronnie but I didn't remember this song and I didn't think there were some video either ! Thank you. A pity we don't see Ronnie very much. It seems weird indeed, how the music changed in a matter of a few years... Elf was boogie and something else, a bit hard rock too, but Rainbow was totally different music (and quite different from Deep Purple too, btw). Ronnie was great on ballads, too, as we can hear on Roger Glover's Butterfly Ball in 1974....

Then there’s the Beatles wanting to up the anti on The Beach Boys :) how cool were BOTH of those bands during the drug years lol.. both bands having dude crushes on each other .. tripping balls in the studio while using flutes .. mandolins.. slide whistles.. horns .. just crazy how those two bands shaped so much

One day, there will be a market for band videos, and its going to spar on a plethora of fake reality shows that cause society to pretend like they live in one big frat house. Also starting at 2:05 The sound of the bands future is captured Hope you find these useful.

Take a look at when he was with "Elf". I had an album by Elf, saw Dio on the Last in Line Tour... I believe it was 1982-ish... was in the autograph Line after the show and handed him the Elf album to sign... 🤣 You should have seen his face (like he saw a ghost!) He laughed his ass off and signed "To Jeff, Thanks for the laugh!!! All the best, always.) Big memory for a young metal fan!
