ronnie had a great point on individualism. seems like individuality is non existent in relative comparison to everything going on with sneaker culture. we're living in a screenshot era where people oblige a personality or aesthetic without any sincerity or experience to justify their choices on kicks. so many heads just look and sound like one another these days and its only magnified with social media engagement. all you need is money in your pockets to buy a costume and live a dream. goes for music and fashion alike.

In the 90's I worked at Franklin Mills Mall in Philadelphia and I went and bought 2 pairs of Wallabee's, a black pair and a royal blue pair, then I took them to get the Wu-Tang logo airbrushed on the lateral side of both pairs. 90's culture was the greatest, the music, fashion & footwear will always hold a special place in my heart.

Ron Fieg's sensibilities - I like it. I wasn't sold on visiting KITH in my home of Hawaii, but now I'm curious to see how his shop reflects his ideas. guys this is for sure top 5 if not top 3 off episodes @RonnieFieg is a legend , been seeing kith product and all that for a while now, but first time i hear the man talking "without camera pressure" (if that makes sense), and kind see and understand , because heard many talk about him in the shows you guys do . being from across the pond , we hear/see the brand , but to me was the first time hearing the man behind it , seen pictures and all that , but actually talking not just about the product in hand came about (like other pictures and posts) but like how he came about. that's how one can understand others a bit better is by knowing and understanding where he comes from. we don't just pop up with 30,s/40,s..... very cool dude to bad have no chance of ever seeing/meeting him (unless he comes to uk....l0l)...but yeah very down to earth guy....lol

1:03:06 I too am getting sick of “sneaker culture” only being about the same 5 models of shoes. It’s like: 35% AJ1 35% Dunk 15% Yeezy 10% AJ4 5% Collabs/Randoms that break through That’s why the “fatigue” we experience now is in existence.
