Great point! Everyone should just appreciate The Faces for what they were. I love Ronnie. He was the glue of the Faces. If people watch live Faces performances with and without Ronnie, you can hear and feel the difference. My kids love this song. I sing it to them all the time. I waited until they knew who Rod Stewart/The Who/The Stones are and then played them The Faces......It blew them away. The common denominator? Ronnie "Plonk" Lane R.I.P.

He was a great friend of mine, Not just a great performer, but an amazing songwriter, this was one of his, I am flipping through the tracks on you tube and its bringing back so many memories of times with him. Especially the passing show... pitching that bloody big top was a nightmare, but it was the laughter of that tour that rings through my memories of those days. miss him more than words can say!

My dad is starting to get on in years. But when I play this song, or Signs by the five man electric band, he really does become just a boy again and starts singing along with the chorus. I didn't grow up with this song as a kid, but he did, and for that I will always cherish this song

Doesn't matter who wrote, who sang. The important thing is that listening to their music is enjoyable. Watching the different postings, whether it be The Faces, or Rod, or Ronnie, one thing is apparent; they were having a good time when they were playing. And this is contagious. Arguably, a factor in why we like them so much. Ronnie was a great talent. Rod was too. They all were. There's no arguing this. And it was the combination of these talents that made them what they were. Just enjoy it :-)

She was married to Ronnie and the stories are incredible . I have put a snippet on my channel. Please head across and have a listen . If you want to hear more then let me know and I’ll try and update weekly .
