Yep absolutely agreed I dont get everyone attacking ronnie here, in the venue they are strict about any disturbances phones going off talking shouting etc, your ordered out of the venues if you do any of these things, but its ok to open and close doors letting people in while someones taking there shot and in there line of vision, money envolved and he is trying for his 8th title as well Some people dont see whats staring them in the face

I said it before the tournament, that if O'Sullivan calmly and quietly got through his matches and kept in his own bubble, he'd be 8 times World Champion. As it is, he's allowed nonsense into his head and has beat himself. It needn't have been that way.

Stuart Bingham is a tough opponent though. I agree with you that Ronnie is a great and legendary player though...and if there is anybody that can get an 8th world title, he can. Stephen Hendry's days are sadly long gone, but Ronnie can get an 8th World Championship title...maybe he can do it next year.

@@ArranVid Bingham is a good player, but Ronnie finds that extra gear that can beat anybody - unless he gets annoyed by silly things. I remember it happening against Ebdon in 2005, and other times where he's let small occurrences get into his head. But yeah, Hendry was a machine. Him v O'Sullivan at their respective peaks would have been fascinating. I wouldn't put it past Ronnie to get ten eventually. It's down to how much he wants it.

Not bullying the ref at all..he had every right to take his time and carry on once crowd has settled..they should be controlling the crowd anyway and ref should be doing a better job keeping crowd quiet and not distracting the players.

Not arrogant at all He is saying once game starts there should be no one allowed in, snooker is all about silence slightest thing can distract and thats why they tell you phone turned off or on silent and your sent out if you do a disturbance on purpose and sent out if you make a disturbance after being warned, so they want silence but its ok to open and close doors letting people in while game is playing thats not on, ronnie is making a point of this and i fully agree, he is going for his 8th title and any snooker player would not be happy if they missed there shot distracted by noise of doors opening and letting people in, snooker is a game where slightest movement or noises can put you off simple as that, any of the people attacking ronnie here are wrong if it was them taking a shot and missed to the noise of door opening and closing they would be pissed facts, you can hear a pin drop when everything is kept silent for the players so a door opening and closing will be amplified Yeah sorry hes right once game starts no one else allowed in and i fully agree with him

Calling it 'bullying' muddies the water. Inaccurate description. I WOULD say it's unnecessary, disrespectful and obnoxious though. Frankly, when he's not taking a shot, Ronnie O'Sullivan disappoints as a person so often now it's changed my opinion of him in the 'best ever' conversation. 😹..bit sarcastic from referee, to say..."yer, but we might wait for 20?!! mins, know what I mean?"... reply..."It's not 20 mins, chill"... (the referee's remark, definitely got his back! up!...(look at his hand gesture! when replying!)... "I am chilled" then why ask a player to "hurry up" & take their shot?... A player should be allowed to compose themselves, especially, after the crowd disturbance and worse, the door kept on opening?!!...then a ridiculous amount?!! of people poured! in! out of nowhere!...with pints of beer! etc... (understandable, if it was an "emergency" for a crowd member)... But it wasn't!..(it's pints! of beer! messing! up! your career!😳)...and it was on your shot?... (that would get any player out of sync! with their match & profanities!, definitely! will start to kick! up! in their mind!)... 10-10...10-11!..10-12!..10-13!..see ya! next year!... The referee should of made sure the door remained closed, after that first batch of people... (Referees have "full control" of the arena and are allowed to get security to remove any audience member, if they're not behaving themselves & guess that must go for no entry, due to live! play!)... There must be tv screens, outside?, to watch!...in case you take too long at the bar!/toilets)...

This is Ronnie projecting his anger and frustration onto the referee. She handled it brilliantly. Big respect to her. If she does not feel 'bullied', then there is no issue here. Ronnie lost his head a little, but we all do sometimes. If it were me in his place, I would have apologized to the ref one on one and face to face afterwards though.

Ronnie O'Sullivan is a big bully. He called me a silly billy once, so I ran to hide under my bed quilt and I called my mummy because Ronnie was being such a big bully to me. I told the police that Ronnie called me a silly billy. Because he called me a silly billy, I went into a huge depression and I stayed in the house for several weeks. I also did not go to work, because Ronnie called me a silly billy (I made this all up, lol, thanks for reading).
