Or, you know, this "advice" has remained true throughout all of human history. (Not to undermine that, these days, yes, it's a particular low point for romance - that an already difficult task has been complicated further by social isolation and another round of sexual warfare. Again.)

Take me back with you. 😂 Not for the music, I want my youth back. To me, the 80s mean _bad hair and clothing styles, a lot of questionable music,_ but mostly, I remember HAVING A LOT OF FUN. That fun continued into the late-90s. We had a kid, and fun took on a whole new meaning.

Who is still listening to this classic in 2024
@igormaka38485 ай бұрын
It is timeless, yes mrs Karen....now back to my delorean, to 1985 lol The truth is that our hearts are only good because of God, there is no one who is good but God, Jesus said that and He is right. I found Jesus and he changed my entire life, He revealed secrets to me not many people know, He spoke to my face many times just the same as to His apostles 2000 years ago, I feel very blessed. Not many people know Him but He speaks to us all, I have learned the Bible and how to hear Him. It is not about religion or denomination, it is a personal intimate relationship. The whole world needs to know this desperately but who is telling it ? and who will hear and believe ? Not many...

He became world famous with this song. He is one of those band of Irish guys in the 1980s like Chris De Burgh. Jimmy McShane from Baltimora and others. Who were one or two hit wonders. But those one or two hit wonder songs made them world famous were probably some of the best songs of the decade. This was one of the best songs of the decade. Great music video too. You can see the enthusiasm and joy of the American music audience in this music video for this guy.

The best decade ever bar none and if I had an option of going back in time it would be the 80s when I finally chose the team I would support and my whole family being rangers fans I knew what team was for me and that was celtic I was hooked after hearing the fans singing for there team and they won that night beating Real Madrid at parkhead and 2 years later I went to my first game in may 1985 v Motherwell in the scottish cup semi final which ended in a draw and I had earache when I left hampden that night it was brilliant just watching and listening to the celtic fans and one guy put me on his shoulders for the whole second half so I could see the match and I was in awe of the sheer size of the celtic supporters I also went to the replay and final which we won 2-1 after going down 1 nil to Dundee utd thanks to provan and McGarvey it was a day that I reflect on many many times,I've been to thousands since and I still get the butterflies when celtic park comes into view it sure is a grand ole team to play for HH

LYRICS - “A Good Heart” 💖 I hear a lot of stories I suppose they could be true All about love And what it can do to you Highest risk of striking out The risk of getting hurt And still I have so much to learn Well, I know 'Cause I think about it all the time I know That real love has quite a price A good heart True love, the lasting kind So please be gentle with this heart of mine My expectations may be high I blame it on my youth Soon enough I'd learned the painful truth I'll face it like a fighter Then boast of how I've grown Anything is better Than being alone Well, I know 'Cause I learn a little every day I know 'Cause I listen when the experts say That (That a good heart) (These days, is hard to find) A good heart True love, the lasting kind Oh (So please be gentle with this heart of mine) Yeah! Hey! As I reflect on all my childhood dreams My ideas of love weren't As foolish as they seemed If I don't start looking now I'll be left behind And a good heart these days It's hard to find Well, I know It's a dream I'm willing to defend I know It will all be worth it in the end A good heart True love, the lasting kind (A good heart) (These days, is hard to find) So please be gentle with this heart of mine A good heart (True love, the lasting kind) (A good heart) Ooh (These days, is hard to find) (So please be gentle with this heart) With this heart of mine (of mine) Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh (A good heart) Ah baby, baby (A good heart) Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh (A good heart) Aah, ah, ah-ah (A good heart) Oh, oh, oh, oh keep it up, keep it up, keep it up (A good heart) Ooh baby, baby (A good heart) Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh (A good heart) 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶 💖 Posted for Louise who truly has a good heart.

@@billgallop4955 70s and 80s are one unit, I feel? 70s Is phenomenal, but 80s evolved a bit more with more variety, 70s had a lot of variety and genre, but eighties was the pinnacle of variety, then it slowly went downhill in the 90s till the steaming pile of non original cookie cutter copy and paste crap today

I see Frank Infante, formerly of Blondie, performing here. He clearly had (has) plenty to offer. Wonder what really went on in the group dynamic. Great song, great performance here, too!

I'm a long-standing punk but always had a soft spot for Feargal via the Undertones ... this is one my ma used to like as well & I'd play it on my stereo in my Mini 850 when we went out shopping or whatever... Shes still with us but totally afflicted by alzheimers so doesn't know who I am anymore let alone what songs we enjoyed... bittersweet song accordingly...

That’s a sad as well as a touching story. I feel for you as the same thing happened to my dear Father. All the best to you and your family.

Those were really great times, sometimes I miss them! Carefree and free! Had a lot to experience with real friends! And for the song I think it's mega even after 25 years. Keeps the mind and soul young ♥ Dear ones, thank you!
