The hand written VIN is missing a character. I purchased a used 2017 Ghibli S two months ago and really am enjoying it. Besides having the V8, I really like that the newer model has some improvements. A dedicated button to shut off the automatic start/stop and shift lever control of manual/automatic shifting instead of a button in the row of buttons.

To each their own, but how anyone would choose this over a Lexus GS-F/LS460 or Genesis G80/G90 with a simple, honest, reliable, powerful NA 5.0L V8 is beyond me! Sure, the V8 in this may be Ferrari derived, but I'm pretty certain it'll also derive all of the reliability and maintenance headaches that comes with owning a Ferrari and any of the Fiat/Chrysler brands.

Hello! Well, your point is valid when considering a car solely as a mode of transportation. I don't believe a Lexus (and definitely not a Genesis) can ever replicate the heritage and charm of a Maserati or other italian classic cars. Maserati buyers are drawn to the brand's unique identity - its heritage, class, charm, and the distinct character it represents.

@@nassimsaab1354 Whatever identity they had went bust when selling out to FIAT/Chrysler. The Maserati products from today don't have an ounce of class. They're not exotic nor luxurious and Maserati never really had significant brand equity, which is why Ferrari was desperate to spin it off. Both Lexus and Genesis do the luxury part much better than Maserati ever has!
