Awesome man. Being from south Louisiana in reference to gumbo bs jambalaya to totally different dishes. Both are very tasty in their own way. If you ever get to the south let me know we can cook you up some. As always safe travels man
@scottd79269 ай бұрын
While similar and both considered a type of stew, jambalaya & gumbo have their differences. Gumbo has a roux-base and is served with a side of rice, and jambalaya is made with the rice cooked as part of the dish. Both are equally delicious and can contain a variety of meat/seafood but the key to both is andouille sausage.

Well put explanation, thank you! Got the andouille 👍

Love your winter camping. Takes me back to my scouting days. Lake Michigan is a wonder in every season. Were you in the Pigeon River country on the one that took four trips? You’d definitely have Elk hearing/seeing opportunities there. Enjoy the coming spring. Dave M. Rockford

Thanks Dave! I was actually in the UP near Naubinway but I have been wanting to get over to the pigeon river area. I snowmobiled in those forests as a kid

Well, you convinced me to try and lift my dog up to the rooftop tent when I go off camping. I knew he wouldn't want to be on his own in the car with me up on top, but he is pretty heavy... Maybe i'll try to create a ramp for him, great video regardless !

Read one of the comments and i was at hog island two years ago in the summer yeah it was packed! It wasnt an Elk you heard thats WAY out of there range, there more Atlanta area to Gaylord. Nit sure whatbit was but pretty sure it wasn't an Elk. If you get a chance the Atlanta area is beautiful and lots of dispersed camp spots over there.

I didn’t know that elk were in a specific area in Michigan. Good to know and I’ve been meaning to camp around that area for a while now. Thanks!

@@AtlasAdventures yeah unfortunately there only in a certain area.
