A team with two legendary big men, still couldn't beat the Bulls (without Pippen at that). Rodman also grabbed 22 rebounds against those two tallers players. Wilt and Russell never faced two giants at the same time. These Bulls were really the greatest

Remember, this was Duncan just a few games into his career and still scored 19 points and grabbed 21 rebounds against the defending champs with two former defensive player of the year winners in Rodman and Jordan the Goat. This wasn't two time MVP NBA champion Duncan. Not even close and still held his own.

Without Pippen against SA with their Twin Towers , while MJ having an awful shooting night and still wins with timely conversions and team defense. Something that is very difficult to do nowadays in NBA unless referees let the defense flow. When a team superstars of today have a bad night, no other option they just lose.

If that's the case, the spurs should have won this game easily. Chicago was playing without their 2nd best player. Why did the spurs struggle is the question, there's an explanation why the bulls Struggled. Pippen dropping down to double Duncan is much different than Randy Brown
@oronasundial
@oronasundial 6 ай бұрын
@@mstringer10 lots of reason's bull's we're at home and still had a loaded team regardless, nonetheless Spurs more in less left the door open enough for jordon to tie. Jordan was gassed in '98 he used his reserves in energy to win that last title. In the lock shorten season of '99 had he'd stayed much of his team would have to play that brutal 50 game schedule in two and half month's with multiple back to backs on a daily basis. Even if the bull's some how made the finals. No way thier getting past Duncun and Robinson in thier primes. Elliott believes this also. So I'm not alone on this, most nba hardcore fan's agree also, Same with that houston team of "94 jordon never got to Play the actual best in the west. That's just how it turned out unfortunately. Not to mention Duncun was a rookie here did you forget that? Idk hard to believe.

It just isn't happening however realistically i do have the Bulls at 7-2 in the finals, had Jordan stayed and not took the two breaks in the '90s.
